Apologies and a forever family

Emma's (POV)
Today is the day that I'm getting adopted meaning that it's been a week since everything happened with Jude. Mariana and I made up and she apologized for dying Jude's hair. I was getting my shoes on when there was a light knock on the door. "Come in" I said. Jude came in and sat next to me. "Look Emma I'm sorry" he said. "Okay" I said. I got up and walked up to the door "Wait just okay" he asked. "Yeah" I said. I walked down the stairs and he was calling my name. "Emma I'm trying to apologize" he said. "And I said okay" I said. "But you act like it's not okay" he said. By this point our moms were looking at us. "Look Jude you told me to leave you alone so that's what I've been doing" I said. "I'm sorry Okay I was just really upset" he said. "About what Jude" I asked. "That day marked a year since my mom had died" I looked at him and so did my moms. "I'm so sorry love" my mom said. "Hey I know what it's like to lose a parent I lost both of my parents. But when you're sad or mad that's what we're hear for we're your family we love you and you shouldn't lash out at the people that love you because your upset you have to talk to someone" I said. "I'm sorry" he said. "It's okay" I said. I gave him a hug and then everyone else came downstairs.

Stef's (POV)
Jude and Emma hugged and all I could do was smile because it was nice to see my babies getting along. "Okay guys ready to go" I asked. "Yeah" they all said. We all got in the car and we drove to the court house we waited in the lobby for about twenty minutes then they called us in. Jude Mariana Jesus and Brandon sat down and Lena Emma and I went up to the front and sat till the judge came out. "Are you Emma Swan" he asked Emma "Yes" she said. He then looked at me "Are you Stephanie Adams Foster" "Yes" I said. Then he looked at Lena "And are you Lena Adams Foster" he asked. "Yes" she said. "Okay. Emma I was looking over your file and there's a few things I'm concerned about" he said. Lena and I looked at each other confused. "You were in juvie for three months is that correct" he asked. "Yes your honor" Emma said. "For what" he asked. "I sold fake ID's with my brother" she said. "Okay well that won't be a problem anymore correct" he asked. "No your honor it won't" she said. "A few years ago you dated Mariana Adams Foster is that correct" he asked. "Yes" she said. "Okay there's just one thing I need to know" he said. Emma nodded. "Everything between you and Mariana is over yes" he asked. "Yes your honor that's over" she said. "Okay well I have no reason to withhold the adoption" he said. Lena and I smiled at Emma. "You have now officially become a member of the Adams Foster Family Congratulations" he said. Lena and I wrapped our arms around Emma and she had the biggest smile on her face. She hugged Brandon Mariana Jesus and Jude and then we left the courthouse.

Jude's (POV)
We got into the house and went straight into the kitchen. There was cake and food on the table and everyone sat down. "Um Moms can I go upstairs I have to do something" I asked. "Yeah love go ahead" my mom said. "Thanks" I said. I went upstairs into the bathroom and looked in the mirror I took out the piercing in my lip and then I grabbed a paper towel and wiped off all the eyeliner I had on I threw the paper towel away and went into my room. I took off the bracelets and rings and put them in a drawer. I took of the shirt I had on and put on a regular t shirt and some blue jeans with converse. I'm gonna dye my hair back to normal tomorrow I just don't want to miss Emma's adoption party so I just went downstairs. When I got downstairs everyone looked at me and smiled. "I realized that Emma was right next time I'm upset I'll turn to my family because this family means more to me than anything else" I said. They all got up and surrounded me in a group hug. I smiled and went to sit next to Emma. "Okay movie time" my moms said. We all went into the living room and picked a spot somewhere. I sat on the couch next to Emma and my moms came and sat next to us Mamma next to me and Mom next to Emma. My mom put her arm around Emma and she laid her head on her shoulder.

Emma's (POV)
My mom put her arm around me and I laid my head on her shoulder. The movie was about thirty to forty minutes in and I started to fall asleep I eventually fell asleep on my moms shoulder. I felt her move a little and she laid down on the couch with me I kept my head on her shoulder until we were both asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night and realized that everyone had fallen asleep downstairs so I got up and got some water. I looked out the window and thought about the day I first got here I never thought that I would have a forever family and I never thought that I'd get adopted by such a wonderful family I took my final sip of water and went to the doorway of the living room and looked at everyone asleep. I smiled a bit and went back to my spot where I slept and I drifted of to sleep and the last thing I thought of was how happy I am to be Emma Adams Foster.
