Asking her out

Emma's (POV)
After I walked away from my Mom I got in the car and went to Ruby's. I opened the door with Ruby's key and sat on the couch. "Emma is that you" Ruby asked. "Yup" i said. She came downstairs and sat next to me. "Are you okay" she asked. "I guess" I said. "What happened" she asked. "My moms happened" I said. "Sorry" she said. "Again not your fault" I said. "Again It doesn't have to be my fault for me to be sorry" she said. "Hey"she said. She grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. "I'm here for you" she said. I looked over at her and smiled lightly. When I looked into her eyes I got lost in her Hazel eyes and I just leaned in and kissed her. She surprisingly kissed back and I pulled away. "Sorry I don't know why I did that" I said. I looked the other way and let go of her hand. "Hey" she said. I didn't turn around and I felt her touch my face with two fingers she turned my head so that I was looking at her. "I wanted you to do that" she said. "Really" I asked. "Yeah I've been waiting for you to since you got here" she said. She leaned in and kissed me softly on the lips. I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to me. After a few seconds I pulled away. "As much as I love this I have to go get Henry" I said. "I'll come with you" she said. "Okay" I said. She grabbed her car keys and then she came over and grabbed my hand. We got in the car and drove to Henry's school.

Ruby's (POV)
We waited ten minutes and then Henry came walking out and when he saw us he ran to the car and got inside. "Hey kid how was school" Emma asked. "Good" he said. I looked back at him and I noticed he seemed kind of upset. "What's wrong" I asked. "Nothing" He said. "Seriously Henry what's wrong" Emma asked. "W-Well I know that my mom is having some problems with her moms but I miss my grandmas and I just really want to see them...Can I" He asked. Emma looked at me for a minute and then she looked back at Henry. "It's fine if you say no I just wanted to know" he said. "Just because I'm having problems with my moms doesn't mean I should keep you away so yes you can go over there" Emma said. "Yes thanks mom" he said. She smiled lightly at him and we drove to Emma's house. We pulled up to Emma's house and Henry got out of the car "Wait kid" Emma said. Emma got out of the car and went to the door with him. I saw Henry run inside and Emma walked back to the car. "Hey do my moms aren't home yet but my brothers and sister wanna chill till they get home wanna come" she asked. "Sure" I said. I turned my car off and walked inside with Emma hand in hand. "Guys this is Ruby" Emma said. They all introduced themselves and Emma and I sat down. Thirty minutes later Stef and Lena came through the door. Emma looked at them and she got up. "We should get going but let's hangout soon" she asked looking at her brothers and sister. "Yeah" they all said. I grabbed her hand and she looked at her moms. "Henry misses you guys so I brought him over for a bit but I guess it's my fault that he misses you cause I shouldn't have brought him around as much and he wouldn't even know about you it would be better that way" she said. She opened the door and we walked out to my car and drove home.

Emma's (POV)
We got back to Ruby's and I sat down on the couch and put my head in my hands. Ruby put her hand on my lower back and rubbed small circles. "What can I do to make you feel better" she asked. I looked up and her and smirked a little. "I have a few things in mind" I said. She got up and got in front of me and pushed me back on the couch she straddled me and began to kiss me passionately. "Ruby" I said. She pulled away and looked at me with her hands around my neck. "Yeah" She said. "Do you wanna go out with me" I asked. "I'll have to think about it" she said getting off my lap and going into the kitchen. "Ruby" I said. I went over to her and put my hands on her waist. "I'm joking of course I'll go out with you Emma" she said. I pushed her back on the counter slightly and then I lifted her onto the counter and slipped in between her legs. She wrapped her legs around my waist and kissed me passionately. I lifted her up and walked upstairs. I put her down on the bed and she practically ripped my jacket off. I began kissing down her neck and she had her hands tangled in my hair. I reached for the button of her pants and then my phone started ringing. I got off of Ruby and she laid her head on my chest while I answered the phone. "Hello" I said. "Hey Emma it's me" said Brandon. "What" I said. "Jude Henry and Jesus are trapped in the garage" he said. "What" I asked. "Yeah" He said "Well Mom is a cop tell her to do something" I said. "We tried we can't do anything" he said. "Shit I'm on my way" I said. I hung up my phone and Ruby asked what happened I explained in to her and we drove to my house. I walked inside and everyone was in the backyard. I ran over to the garage and I heard Jude screaming. "Jude" I said. "Yeah" he said. "Are you by the door" I asked. "Yeah he said. "Okay I need you all to back up" I said. "How far back" he asked. "At least five feet back" I said. "Okay" he said. "Scream when you've backed up" I said. He screamed a few seconds later and I turned at looked at everyone. "Sorry" I said. I turned back to the door and I kicked it open. Henry came running over to me and Jesus and Jude ran outside. "Wow your strong" Ruby said. She kissed me on lips and everyone groaned. "Get a room" Jesus said. "Shut up" I said. I grabbed Ruby's hand and then I put my arm around Henry and we went back to Ruby's and went to sleep.
