"I love you Ryn" I confessed to her. She turned her head away from me.
"So" My face literally changed. I was so confused and hurt.
"What do you mean, so? You're mine. I love you" She didn't love me. After everything she didn't say it back.
"No! I'm not yours; no one belongs to someone. We're our own people not some damn property Daniel!" She yelled, her tears streamed down her cheeks. Her beautiful freckles scattered perfectly on her slightly dark skin, I wanted to touch her cheek.
"But, but do you not love me?" I needed an answer.
"I do Daniel. I do. You just can't love me, you can't" I hugged her tightly, never wanting to let go.
"And why is that? Why can't I love you?" She cried even more. My shirt was soaked with her tears. I didn't want to see her cry.
