I was relived I thought we had gotten to that point when it was time for Henry to say it's not you babe its me. I'm just not good enough or something like that. Those lines that guys usually use when it's time to breakup with a girl. I mean I had not really had anyone else in my life apart from him.
"So are we going out this evening?" I asked with a little hope. Okay I mean too much hope.
"I have some.....
"It's okay school work and all I better get going" I said picking up my phone and purse and slowly leaving the shop. Second time in a row he didn't stop me but for some weird reason I was frankly okay.
"Em" I yell when I got inside.
"Making lunch " she yelled back. I slowly walked to the kitchen to see her storing something over the gas. I'm guessing she is making soup.
"Saw Henry today" I said opening up the fridge to take a bottled water.
"How did that go" she asked lowering the heat before facing me.
"He said it wasn't anything serious and that it was because he was busy with projects but that nothing had changed between us" I say sigh before taking a big gulp of the water.
"Well at least we know how to kill him if he breaks your heart" she said flashing a half hearted smile.
I chuckled at her. "I'm going in" I said motioning towards the room.
"Okay be out for lunch soon" she said as I went in.
"Yes mommy" I said as I rolled my eyes.

It's a new Monday and I mean the week Henry said he was going to tell me what was up. I hadn't seen him all week. Okay I had seen him I mean he passed me. Always hurrying to class and all.
I walked to the direction of my business class. Henry had taken same classes last year. I mean isn't that so cheesy and romantic that I was studying the same course with my......boyfriend?
I walked directly into my worst person on campus. Darlene. I men why this university of all the schools to go to. She smiles widely. The smile that is always fake.
"Eva how are you haven't seen your ugly face around" she beamed with happiness.
"That's because seeing you will taint me" I said emotionless.
"Well you don't have to worry about that there's really nothing to taint" she said smirking.
"I'm already bored so I'm going to go" I said trying to leave but her hands shot up to my upper arm to hold.
"But I'm not bored I still want to talk" she said with happiness. Why the hell is she talking to me.
"Leave her Darlene she said she wasn't in the mood" I hear an all too familiar voice behind me.
