When you were a kid, your mother was your guide. She told you everything you asked her about things which you didn't know. Be it in case of food, shoes or clothes, everything! Well in my case too she was my guide but the things which I discovered...well, those things were different. Different in the sense that, they weren't "things".

Like when I was playing around in my house, I got hit by a table so I started crying (I didn't know that feeling was "crying"...hehe!). So I went straight to my mother and told her that something felt unusual (Because it was the first time I discovered cry). Water rolled down my cheeks, and its source was the eye. It seemed quite peculiar (As I thought there must be a water tank inside my body...hmmm Sherlock Holmes huh!). Then my mother told me, "That's actually crying". I was like, "Whoa! A tank inside my body from which water is leaked through the eye! That you call crying? It needs to be fixed!" My mother explained to me that it can't be fixed as it's a way how things work. So that triggered my mind, "In order to find out how things work, I need try to all the things that lead to discovery (full Sherlock Holmes mode!).

So moving towards the first discovery, I found that not everything you can eat (on the floor I meant...hahaha!!). One day when I was sitting on the verandah, playing with my toys, I saw a bird flew near me. I went near to catch it but it was fast enough to fly away. I was a bit upset. Suddenly I saw white colored substance lying on the floor (Yeah! You are thinking it right. It was that bird's...never mind). I went to have a closer look to identify that substance. Then it dawned on me that it must be white chocolate (Eew!). I took that substance with my finger and I was about to eat it (You must be feeling nauseous...me too!). All of a sudden my mother screamed (Her scream was so shocking that the substance immediately fell down from my finger...Thank God!). She screamed so loudly that I felt like- as if I was going to murder someone and she spotted me while doing so as if I was Hitler who is going to kill Nazis. Then she came running towards me (like a train going to hit me), grabbed me and straightaway went to the bathroom for cleaning. After that, how much scolding I discovered, that led me thinking, "Whoa! You can't eat everything too (on the floor...haha!)!"

Coming on to the second discovery, I found that not from everything you can escape (from everything I meant mother's scolding...yikes!). One day when my sister and I were watching TV (our mother was in the bathroom) in our bedroom (after getting bathed by our mother nicely), we saw an advertisement. That was showing, "How to massage your hair with oil!" The way that the man in the advertisement showed us a massage, we were quite fascinated. So we took out bottles of oil from the drawers of the dressing table and started massaging each other's head (Imagine after a nice bath we doing that...uff!). When our mother came out from the bathroom (climax!) she was shocked to see us bathed with oil and with oil on the floor too (along with shock, a pinch of anger too...hehe!). After that, you can imagine what we both went through (sigh). So Tadaa...that's how we discovered that we can't escape from everything (I meant from mischief). Sometimes we need to analyze too (analyze the person in the advertisement too).

So what were the mistakes in my discovery? Well, they were-

1. I believed the advertisement guy too much that led my mother beating me while he escaped (makes small eyes like those of Chinese people to signify suspiciousness).

2. I thought head massage is fun (as a kid it was punishment).

3. I did everything in absence of my mother (Should have done everything in front of her. That would have driven her nuts and bananas...hahahahaha!!).

4. I thought every white substance is cream (don't ever try this at home).

5. I discovered too much (even my tear tastes salty hmm!!).

6. I believed my sister too much (she framed me...and herself too).

7. I believed that bird too much (thinking of this is too much...hahaha!!).

Apart from these mistakes I learned that in order to discover more things, I need to take extra precautions (armor suit to stay safe from my mother...hehe!). Once you do this, make sure you have your father on your side (a warrior needs a king!). Then you need a vehicle to ride on (when will my sis come in handy huh!). And as weapons, take a spoon and a lid (as a kid these two were my sword and shield...hahaha!!). And now you are ready for battle. Hahahahaha!! I'm just kidding. Always listen to your mother, keep her on your side too like your father, do have such crazy experiences along with alertness and make things a little bit easy for her (unlike me...haha!). Then only you can enjoy life because life is all about overcoming difficulties keeping by your side, your parents.
