One Out Of Two

Chapter Nine(:

Niall's POV 

'What do you mean 'Me and Liam' ?" I overheard Annabel question Harry . Yes i smiply 'overheard' not "spying" or 'eavesdropping" . Such strong words . 

"Oh come Anne , drop the act ! Something must've happened while you two went out to the store ! Liam is never that awkward ! Come on you can tell me . " I can just picture Harry flashing his dimples right now . He could make anyone tell him anything with those dimples ! And i wasn't sure if i wanted to hear what Annabel had to say . 

"Ooo you made breakfast Harreh , great i'm starved . " i picked up a piece of bacon and looked over to Harry . 

Bloddy hell ? Harry was leaning across the kitchen counter so close to Annabel's face . My Anne . They would be kissing if they had moved another centimeter ! No not kissing , they'd simply be touching faces . Annabel looked horrified and Harry looked nervous . 

He coughed and moved away , "Umm yeah i put extra on your plate , Nialler . " 

I decided to just ignore what happened because i had heard there conversation and it wasn't about kissing or anything . Not even flirting ! So i let them slide . 

"Great , thanks ."

Annabel's POV 

"Come on slowpoke ! You're holding me back ! " yelled Niall over his shoulder . 

I laughed , "I'm not even that far behind ! And you got a head start ! " 

Niall was taking me someplace without Gracie or the boys but he wouldn't tell me . These were the best days , when me and Niall would just set out to do some adventure , him normally knowing what the adventure was . And now at 10 o clock at night i was definitely excited . 

"Come on Niall tell me where we're going ! " i said when i had finally caught up to him and even then that was only because he had slowed down for me . 

"Nope . Now close your eyes , we're almost there ." he grinned . 

'Ugh fine ! " i groaned , but in reality i was excited . It was always good when he told me to close my eyes . 

Niall led me forward , one hand on my shoulder and one on my waist , while i grabbed onto him for dear life . Could this path get any rockier ?! 

"Are we almost there ? " i complained . 

He chuckled , "Yep , you can open your eyes now love . " he said while releasing his grip on me . 

I opened my eyes to see .. a river ? 

"Niall what are we - " 

Niall cut me off and picked me up bridal style . I know knew what we were doing here . We were taking a late night swim ! Without my knowing ! 

"Niall i swear if you throw me in here i am going to kill you and dance on your grave ! " i threatened .

"Sure thing Anne " he chuckeled and he threw me in ! 

"Aaaahhh ! " I shrieked . "Niall it's freezing ! "

He just laughed at my discomfort . Niall somehow found everything amusing .

 "Oh .. my .. God ... you should've seen .. your face ! " he was DOUBLED OVER IN LAUGHTER . In fact , he was so caught up in laughing until he cried , that Niall hadn't noticed me get out of the river and slowly make my way towards him . 

Luckily for me Niall was already close to the water's edge so it was easy just to push him in . 

"Shit Anne , this water is so damn cold ! " Niall stuttered as soon as his head popped out of the dark , rippling water . 

"Didn't I tell you Nialler !" I laughed . His face was priceless !

Then i felt Niall's firm grip on my ankle and was pulled into the water with him . 

"Not fair I thought we were even now ! I guess i'm gonna have to get you back somehow . " I grinned . 

"I'd like to see you try ," smirked Niall before he jumped onto my back . 

Yeah , that was my best friend .

Liam's POV 

 Niall and Anne have been out since 10 at night and now it was nearly 1 in the morning ! They just disappeared out the door , Niall saying they were going on an adventure and Anne just giggling and nodding her head . But i have been waiting for them because i was planning on asking Annabel out  tonight but i dont know if that will happen now . 

"Well guys , its nearly 1 am here and i'm still awake ! What time is it where you're at ? " I asked all my twitcam viewers . Almost instantly all the replies rolled in along with some questions asking me to follow them . 

Then the door burst open and Niall and Annabel came in dripping wet and laughing and shushing the other . They tried to be quiet but they weren't very good at it . 

"Well hey there , kids . " I said , then turned my attention back to the viewers . 

"And it looks like the two best friends have finally returned from their late night adventure ! " 

"Yeah , yeah we have " giggled Annabel . God she still looked beautiful even when she was soaking wet with makeup streaking her face . 

"And we're wet  , so have fun with your twit cam we're going to go get changed ! " replied Niall already ushering Anne up the stairs . Why was he interfering ? I told him i fancied her . 

They then disappeared behind a door . I sighed . 

'Well guys , i think i'm going to catch some sleep . " i tried not to sound too devasted , "But i love you all and thanks for everything ." i put on a fake grin , waved one last time and went offline .
