Dear Diary,
Today was my first day at Westie Middle in California. It was absolutely and totally catastrophic! Everyone threw me dirty looks and glared at me all day. Everyone except this one girl named Jasmine. She was nice to me, but I wonder if it was because she felt bad for me. Either way, it was good to have someone who was nice to me in this new school, which by the way is exactly like all the other schools I have ever written to you about, except for the friend part. There is this super mean kid named Steven who I now perceive as my archenemy. He is always throwing me dirty looks, sly smirks, and smart comments. Today, I went home early because I couldn't deal with it anymore and the worst part was that Steven had to walk me to the office. Ugh. The only remotely good part about my day was when my mom didn't make me go back to school and I got to play with Sadie for the whole afternoon and then my mom made my favorite dinner of all time. I know this is a really short entry, but I have nothing else to write about today. I have to stop writing now because my mom is knocking at my door.
Bye for now,
Courtney Enamos
