Texas

They plane finally lands in Houston, they get off and there is a car waiting for them . Everything is loaded in the car and they begin their long car ride to Austin which is about a 2-3 hour drive.

Alex is thinking about how lonely her mamas house will feel now that her dad is not there anymore!

Larry : Hey, what you thinking about Alex, you real quite love?

Alex : I'm thinking about how its going to feel and how it will sound with daddy gone that's all !

Larry : I know its hard baby, but focus on the good times you have with you papa and every time you wanna cry think of his smile... I love you Alex and whatever you want I will be by you side no matter what okii baby !

Alex shook her head and smiled, Larry was right ! Instead of dwelling on her dad being gone she started thinking about the time she had with her dad ! He was always there for her, he wiped every tear away when she cried. He saw her accomplish her dreams of being a model and graduating from college, she made her daddy proud and the man she was deeply in love with her dad approved of hands down ! There was so much joy in her pain and Larry helped her seeing that, she whispered to him "thank you Larry, thank you for being by my side and helping me through this. I don't know what I'd do if you weren't here "!

Larry kissed the back of her hand as she laid her head on his shoulder, Lau and Chanelle just looked at them and then Lau grabbed Chanelles hand their fingers intertwined and he gave her a kiss on the lips... Chanelle was taking Alex dad's death just as hard, she laid her head on his shoulder and he started caressing her face whipping the tears from her face.

Lau : I here for you baby, I will hold you and love you through all this. I know you hurting now but know that I here !

Chanelle: Thank you lau, I'm happy you are here with me !

Mama J was in the kitchen cooking a ton of food because she knew they would be very hungry by the time they arrived! She was just finishing making a peach cobbler when she heard a car pull up, she walked over to the door to see Larry get out and helping Alex out of the car. Alex turned to see her mama standing there in the door entrance, she ran to her mama crying and collapsing in her arms !

Mama J : Hush child, you home now. Dry those tears!

Alex just cried and cried, Larry came walking up and hugged mama j and she saw some tears running down his face !

Mama J : Oh Lord give me strength, I can't have both of you falling apart on me ! I just got done cooking, come on in the house and eat !

Alex and Larry dried their tears and Chanelle ran up to mama j and gave her a big hug, "hey mama j, I know its been a long time since I've been here. I'm sorry it had to be under these circumstances "!

Mama J : Chanelle baby, I'm glad to see you too no matter the circumstances. Precious I'm glad you all are here but tell me who is that young man standing at the car looking like Larry ?

Alex : I'm sorry mama I told you Larry had an identical twin brother didn't I ?

Mama J : If you did I probably forget with all this madness going on right now. Well he is family too so Larry go get your things and bring them in the house and take the two bedrooms upstairs !

Larry : Oui, I go get Lau and the bags. Thank you Mrs. Johnson for letting us stay in you house !

Mama J : Your welcome Larry, oh and by the way call me mama j ! You are going to marry my daughter so it's only right!

Larry smiled and kissed her hand and went back to the car to get their things to bring inside. Laurent was just standing there not knowing what to do, he's never met Alex mama and wasn't sure how she would take him !
