Chapter 18

Rushing to the hospital Larry is holding Alex and praying that she doesn't lose the baby !

Larry :"God please no let nothing happen to my babies, I can't lose them God ! Please protect them and save my son or daughter!

They finally pull up to the emergency room, jumping out of the car Lau runs in and tells the nurse he needs help.

Lau :Please help me, my sister is bleeding and she pregnant I need some help !

Larry gets out the car and runs around to the other side and pulls Alex out, picking her up he runs inside to see the staff rushing over to him, he lays her down on the stretcher and they rush her in the back and start to work on saving her and the baby...

Larry fell back in the chair crying uncontrollably, shaking not knowing what they are doing and if they can save the baby. Lau sat down beside him and held his brother, he was upset with Larry but right now his concern was on Alex !

Lau :Listen mon frere, I no mean to say this now but it's you fault we here ! You know Alex is fragile and any little thing will damage her, Lylah showing up like that then you scream at her for trying to make her go ! I pray my nephew and sister will live, cause if no they blood on you hands !

Larry knew he was wrong for screaming at Alex, everything just got out of hand to quickly and before he knew it he was taking his anger out on her !

Larry :You right Lau, all she was doing was trying to help and I yell at her because of Lylah ! I hate her Lau, I wish I never met her... I love my Lilo but I hate her mama, I think I going to court to get Lilo from her. Alex will make a great mama and Lilo love her, that's what I do go to court and get my daughter!  

Lau :That's great bro but now is not the time for that. We take care of Alex and the baby then deal with that okii !

Larry shook his head and started praying all over again ! One hour later the doctor comes out to speak to them....

Doctor: I'm looking for a Mr. Bourgeois, is that you sir ?

Lau : Yes I Mr. Bourgeois and so is he , we twins !

Doctor: Okay, we were able to stop the bleeding. She had started contracting, only being 16 weeks pregnant she almost lost the baby but we stopped her contractions and gave her something for her blood pressure because it was extremely high. She is resting right now and I want to keep her here for a few days before I release her.

Larry :How is her heart doctor?  Is that okii too ?

Doctor: Her heart is okay right now, we are keeping a close eye on that as well due to her medical history. Our main focus right now is to keep that baby from coming to soon. If you would like to go see her she is in room 1288 bed B , but don't stay to long she needs her rest to be able to heal !

Larry : Merci doctor but I going to stay with my wife while she here, I no want to leave her here alone without me !

The doctor leaves and they go to the room to see Alex. As soon as they walked inside you could hear nothing but beeping sounds coming from all different types of machines, Larry slowly walked over to her bed side and fell to his knees "Alex I right here with you baby, I no leaving you here alone tonight. I going to stay till they release you from hospital "!

Alex opened her eyes to see Larry with blood shot eyes and shaking. Lau was sitting in a chair next to the bed whipping his face from the tears he shed, "Is the baby okii, did I lose my baby "?
