"The doctor's say he's pretty bad" She took a long deep breath. There was a sudden knock on the door. My Mom got up to answer it.
"Yes she's right here, come on in" I heard her say. Parker walked into the kitchen.
"I'd thought I would walk you to school today" He said
"Oh,OK" I said getting up. I took two slices of bacon from the on the counter, Grabbed my bag and headed out with Parker.
"So, What's up" He asked
"Nothing" I said putting on a fake smile
"Listen to anything any good music lately?"
"Well actually the other day I was listening to a band called The Swellers, and I surprisingly like their music." I said
"Oh i've heard of them, Their alright but i prefer Fall Out Boy"He said
"Haven't heard of them" I replied
"What? You have never listened to Fall Out boy? I don't know why were friends" he said jokingly. I nudged him playfully giving a chuckle.
"Well you have to check them out" He said pulling out his phone. As we walked, he played one of their songs.
"I have to admit their pretty good" I said nodding my head.
"Told you" He said as we walked into school "See you at lunch?" He asked
"Yep" I replied. We parted ways to our lockers.
