Everyone was mostly talking in homeroom, while I was writing in my notebook. It's kind of a waste of time, because all we do is watch the announcements and the teacher just passes out important papers that we take home. It happens every day and I don't know I just think it's boring. I continue writing when someone called my name. I looked up and saw her beautiful face.

"Hey Camila," I said smiling.

"Austin, you remember my friends: Lauren, Dinah, & Normani?" Camila asking, pointing her hand over to them.

"Of course, how can I not forget? Hello ladies," I said with a smile.

"Anyways, we were going to hang out together after school and wanted to know if you would like to come?" Lauren asked.

"Uh, yeah, sure. Wait, is it just gonna be you girls?" I asked curiously so I can see if Jackson is going or not.

"Jackson's also coming with us," Dinah, smirking and nudging Camila.

"I just forgot I have a thing I have to do after school," I said, coming up with an excuse because I didn't want to worry about him.

The bell rings for first period and I rushed out of homeroom, so I don't get asked questions on why I changed my mind.

"Austin!" Camila running and catching up with me, "Wait up!"

Too late.

I turned around and faced her, "Yeah Camila?"

"Why'd you change your mind? Do you not want to hang out with us?" Camila, looking down with a little sadness in her voice.

"I would love to, but I suddenly remembered that I had to do something with Alex," I said putting my hand on her shoulder and she looked up, where our eyes met. I couldn't help but stare into those beautiful brown eyes of hers.

Then, I snapped back to reality and had to go to class, "Well, we should probably get to Algebra before we're late."

"Yeah," Camila leaving and heading into the classroom.

I walked behind her and once I got in, the tardy bell rings.

"You're late Mr. Mahone," Mr. Mitchell said, walking up to the front.

You're kidding?

"I got in, before the bell rang." I said going to my seat.

"But, you're not in your seat and if you're not in your seat when the tardy bell rings, you're late."

"Okay, I'm sorry. I promise it won't happen again."

I sat down and started taking notes in my notebook. Mr. Mitchell was going over the quadratic formula and how to use it. I was confuse, since math wasn't one of my best subjects.

"Okay, class, homework is on page 12 and you are to do 2-40. Oh, and it's due tomorrow," Mr. Mitchell said, right when the bell rang.

I grabbed my books and headed to my locker to grab my things for Chemistry. I stopped at my locker and opened it, when I heard my name.

"AMeezy," Alex leaning against the locker next to mine.

"Sup AC," I said grabbing my Chemistry book & notebook.

"So, how'd it go in Algebra?" Alex, smirking.

"Confusing," I shut the locker door and closed the lock up.

"No, not that. I mean with Camila," Alex nudging me.

"Oh that..." I rubbed the back of my head, "Her and the girls are hanging out after school & they asked me if I wanted to come."

"Well, are you?" Alex stopping me.

"I told them that I had to do something with you," I said going around him.

"You don't have to do anything with me..." Alex was confused at first, until he knew why I couldn't actually go, "Jackson?"

"Yeah..." I said, walking in the classroom and sitting at my desk.

Alex took his seat next to me, "Bro, you shouldn't let Jackson stop you from hanging with your girl."

"She's not my girl... She's his girl." I took my notebook out and slowly started writing in it.

The tardy bell rang and everyone started working on their bell work. After a few minutes, Mrs. Gilbert went over it and started explaining about the atom & the scientists who discovered it, along with the molecules and compounds. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and a student went to answer it.

"Yo, sorry I'm late, Mrs. G. I know I promised I wouldn't be late-" Jackson said, until Mrs. Gilbert interrupted him.

"Okay, see me after class, Jackson and we'll discuss this."

Jackson took his seat and I just continued to write in my notebook, while Mrs. Gilbert went back to teaching. The bell rings and there was no homework.

I stopped at my locker to put my Chemistry book up and grabbed my regular binder that I use for my other classes.

"Yo, I'll see you at lunch, man." Alex said, going off to his third period class.

"See ya, bro," I said, heading to History class.

I took my normal seat in the back and just wrote in my notebook, while everyone else was talking about their plans for the weekends.

"Okay, class, settle down..." Mr. Langley said, going up to the front of the class, "You can continue to work on your project with your partner."

Everyone started moving their desks around to get settle, when Camila took the desk next to me.

"How's our song coming?" she asked, when I looked down and saw that I was working on another song just for fun.

"Oh, this is something else," I said, closing the notebook and grabbing the binder from under my desk, and opening it up, "Here it is. You can look at it if you want."

She looked over it, "It's good, so who's going to sing it in front of the class?"

"I think you should, Camila." I smiled at her.

"Me? Oh no, Austin, I can't."

"C'mon you're an excellent singer with a beautiful voice."

She blushed, "You really think so?"

"Yeah and plus, I haven't heard that beautiful voice, since we were little."

Camila smiled looking down at the ground, "You're sweet, Austin."

Time has passed, until the bell rang for fourth period. I left History and headed downstairs for Music. While I was walking downstairs, all of a sudden everything went black.
