"What" (Y/N) blurted out. She was in shock. Her own family was sending her away. (Y/N)'s heart practically shattered. "No, y-you can't just send me away" she said very softly. Peter look at (Y/N) and said again "It's for your safety." That seemed to be his only answer. They sat in silence once more.
*The Next Day*
(Y/N)'s POV
Yesterday my dad broke some really upsetting news to me. I can't believe my parents are sending me away. I thought family was always supposed to stick together, guess I was wrong. I don't even want to talk to them right now. I have only about a week left. I knew I was being stubborn for ignoring them. I should be spending all the time I have left with them, after all I had no choice but to go. I had no say in this whatsoever. I knew I'd regret spending my supposed last moments with my family, ignoring them, but they really hurt me. I decided that I'd try to spend time with them, but that didn't mean I wasn't still angry.*A Week Later*
After what seemed like just a few minutes it was already the day I was going to leave. I woke up and had no intentions of getting out of my bed. In my head, if I didn't get out of bed, I wouldn't have to go. Obviously, that wasn't the case. One way or another I'd have to get up. I looked around my room. It would probably be the last time I'd ever be in here, because honestly I don't know if I'll ever see my family again. Just thinking about it brought tears to my eyes. My parents were being overdramatic, surely they'll change their mind, right? There are so many ways to deal with this situation, other than me being sent away. Clearly they're oblivious to the options, but they've made their choice. I was going to settle down on the infamous Earth. I've heard quite a lot of good things about Midgard, maybe it won't be so bad? I honestly don't know what to feel right now.
I got out of my bed and got dressed. Once I was ready, I headed towards the kitchen and ate some breakfast. If it weren't for the fact that I was leaving, it seemed like a totally normal day. I would give anything to make this day normal. I hate this feeling so much. It's like I was punched in the stomach, and now there's just an empty hole, sitting there. As soon as I was done eating I walked over to the lounge. I saw everyone hanging out there so I decided to join in. Once I stepped into the room, all eyes were turned on me. Everyone had a sad expression on their face, and we all knew exactly why. It was time to go.
Rocket had flown the ship to a space station. It was where aliens could come take a pod and travel to whatever realm they desire. We all stepped off our ship and into the station. I've never been to a space station before, but it looked all too familiar. That's when everything came back to me. My eyes widened. This was where I was in my dream 2 years ago. How did I know this was going to happen? My jaw dropped immediately. My head jerked to my mom's direction. "What's wrong?" She inquired, with a concerned tone and expression.
"I knew this was going to happen..."I whispered. Everyone looked at me, confused. "Of course you did, we told y-" Dad began. "No," I interrupted. I looked at Drax. "Drax remember that one night two years ago, when I woke up in the middle of the night from a nightmare, and I went to go eat zark nuts and you scared me?" I said all in one breath. "Yeah?" He said, slightly tilting his head. "This was my nightmare. I was here. Crying." I explained. My dad looked lost in his thoughts. "Precognition" he blurted out. "Huh?" I responded. "You have powers....precognition is when you can see the future." I have powers?! Well, that was a surprising turn of events. I guess I'll learn how to use them on Midgard?
It was time to say goodbye now. I hugged Mantis first. I told her how much I was going to miss her warm hugs and comforting words. Then I went on to hug Drax, telling him how much I'd miss his jokes. I hugged Rocket, and thanked him for always protecting me. Now I was kneeling in front of Baby Groot. I managed to put a small smile on my face and hugged him tight. I told him , no matter what, I'll always be there for him and how much I'd miss being goofy with him and all his dance moves. They all boarded the ship again, leaving me with my parents. Then it hit me. I might not be able to see my parents ever again. I burst out into tears and collapsed on the floor.
Third Person POV
(Y/N) was on the ground at a space station with tears streaming down her face, sobbing uncontrollably. She was constantly mumbling one certain phrase as she rocked herself back and forth. "Please, I don't want to leave" over and over in between her gasps for air. She buried her face in her cold palms, as she was shaking. Peter rested his hand on his daughter's shoulder and gave her a loving look. "I'm sorry" he whispered, tears forming in his eyes, as he lifted his daughter off the ground and into a tight hug. Neither of them wanted to let go. He soon pulled away from the hug and looked at her. She walked over to Gamora and buried her face into her shoulder. "I love you mom." (Y/N) whispered. "I love you more, please be safe, sweetie" Gamora whispered back as she pushed a strand of (Y/N)'s (H/C) hair behind her ear. (Y/N) let go of her mother and took a deep breath. She turned back towards Peter as he took her hand. He looked directly into his daughters eyes as he spoke. "This is for your safety. Remember that." Then, he led her to a pod, and nodded at her. "It's time to go, sweetie" he said, holding in his own tears. He needed to appear strong for his daughter, attempting to show her that he made the right decision. After all, she looked up to him.(Y/N) stepped into the pod and got as comfortable as she could get. Her father set in the destination and placed her backpack next to her. "Goodbye" she whispered as the glass shut over her head. She nodded at her parents and pushed a button, sending her off into space. The ride was a bit bumpy at first but it got smoother the farther she traveled. (Y/N)'s eyes shut as her pod went to hyper speed. She was drifting off into a deep sleep for approximately an hour and 45 minutes until she arrived at Earth.
Hyper sleep wasn't like a normal nap. She wasn't going to have a proper dream. It was more like she was trapped in her thoughts. She wasn't going to awake when she arrived in Midgard. The only way she'd snap out of her conscience was if someone opened up the pod. The faster (Y/N)'s pod went, the heavier her eyelids became. Soon enough, she was in hyper sleep.
*Time Skip*
(Y/N)'s pod was slowly coming to a descend and crashed into a field. Of course she didn't feel anything, but it was extremely bumpy landing. (Y/N) had no idea she landed. Being trapped in her thoughts was very haunting. The only thing she could think of was never being able to see her family again. She kept imagining one scene over and over again. She was standing there in the middle of a field on a planet she sort of recognized. She figured she had probably seen it while everyone else was on a mission. (Y/N) heard some screaming in the distance. It sounded so familiar, but why? She came to the realization that it was her mother, Gamora. (Y/N) began panicking and tried to run, her legs were moving, but they didn't take her anywhere. Following Gamora's screaming was Baby Groot's crying. Then, Mantis yelling for help, Drax and Rocket yelling for each other with a worried tone, and Peter Quill screaming at the top of his lungs for his daughter.
(Y/N) hated feeling helpless. She always felt helpless. Tears streaming down her face in both her reality and her trance. In reality (Y/N) was twisting and turning. In her mind, her pace began going faster and faster. No matter how hard she tried, she could not move. (Y/N) heard one more scream from her father until her eyes shot open and she gasped for air.
(Y/N) was finally awake, and she noticed she had arrived in Midgard. She was no longer in the field her pod had crashed into. Of course, she didn't know where she landed. She was in a lab of some sort. Her pod door had been opened, but by who? Suddenly, she heard footsteps rushing down some steps. She frantically looked around until she saw a face. She screamed so loud she nearly broke some glass nearby. Soon, a hand was placed over her mouth. The face spoke, "Who the hell are you?" the deep voice said.
(Y/N) removed the hand off her mouth, "(Y-Y/N) Quill...w-who are you?" she responded. "Tony, Tony Stark." He said looking very serious. "What are you doing here?" He asked, making sure she was no threat. (Y/N) explained everything to him, until a boy about (Y/N)'s age came down. "Mr.Stark?" He tried to sound confident. Tony looked over at him and gave a look as if telling him to continue talking. "Uh..."he paused looking over at (Y/N). About a few seconds later, he snapped out of it and said "Mr.Rog- I uh mean Cap, is asking for you." He stuttered. Tony nodded and went up the stairs.
The boy and (Y/N) stood there in silence until he broke it by introducing himself. He extended his arm out. "uh I'm Peter Parker." He stated with an awkward smile. (Y/N) made eye contact with him after hearing her fathers first name. She frowned a bit and looked at the ground. "What's wrong?" He seemed genuinely concerned. "N-nothing, it's just...my dad's name is Peter aswell...uh anyway, I'm (Y/N) Quill" she said smiling. She shook Peters hand and blushed.
