*A Week Later*

Peter's POV
My alarm went off at 10 am, I slept in because it was a Saturday. May was off doing grocery shopping or something like that. I did my daily morning routine, and plopped myself back on the bed. My mind slowly began to drift off into deep thoughts. The other night with (Y/N) was amazing, except for the fact that I sort of bailed on her. I got really nervous, but I know that's not really a valid excuse. I like her a lot, I really do, but I don't know if I'm ready to tell her who I really am. Will she be mad? Will she ever talk to me again? What if she hates me? She'd probably freak out. The longer my mind lingers on the issue the sooner I realize that she's probably absolutely pissed at me, well, Spider-Man. She doesn't seem like herself at school lately, so I decided to text her so we could hang out, after all it was the weekend. Maybe I'd be able to cheer her up about whatever was bothering her.

Author-Chan is too lazy to write abt school so it's the weekend now.

Peter
hey (Y/N), I was wondering if you were busy today. If not wanna hang out??

(Y/N)
oh hey Peter, I'm actually not available. Tony has plans for me later, sorry.

Peter
that's cool, maybe some other time :)

(Y/N)
maybe

Something seemed a bit off when I texted her, but I ignored it. Not that long after my attempt to make plans with (Y/N), I got a call from Mr.Stark. He instructed me to get into my Spider-Man suit and meet him at the Facility at 2:00pm. He mentioned something about having a job for me. I didn't really question it and simply agreed to it.

I checked the time and realized it was 1:30 already. Damn, time flew by. Did I really spend all that time thinking about (Y/N)? I rushed into my suit and swung myself to the Facility as fast as I could. By the time I got there it was 1:57pm. I headed over to the training room where I saw Mr.Stark standing there, waiting for me. Running over to him, out of breath I began, "Hi, Mr.Stark. What did you need me for?" He sent a small smile my way. "Hey kid, I need you to help (Y/N) out with her training. We recently found out she had super strength. I figured since you two were friends, you'd be able to help her control her powers." I froze. She's definitely not gonna wanna see me.

At that moment (Y/N) walked in, wearing some gym clothes. As soon as she saw me she froze as well. "Hey (Y/N), Pete over here is gonna train with you." Damn it.

(Y/N)'s POV
Tony mentioned something about training today. He told me to go change into some work out clothes and then meet him back down in the training room. I walked into the room and saw Spider-Man standing there alongside Tony. I froze almost immediately. "Hey (Y/N), Pete over here is gonna train with you." My eyes widened at the mention of his name. Pete. Oh my god. No, it can't be, can it? Tony looked at the both of us and raised his eyebrow. "Am I missing something here?" he inquired.

I walked up to Spider-Man and yanked his mask off, revealing his face. My eyes widened even more, if that was even possible. My jaw practically fell to the ground. I was in so much shock, that I was unable to utter a single word from my mouth. I stared at him for a moment, and began to slowly step back. "It...it was you?! The entire time?!" I managed to squeak out. Peter Parker stood there before me, in his Spider-Man suit, holding his mask in his right hand. He sighed, and nodded while running his left hand through his hair.

"I'm sorry," he muttered. Tony just stared at us blankly, not knowing what the hell was happening. I looked at Peter, directly into his chocolate brown eyes, guilt clearly evident in them. "What the fuck, Richard." I whispered, gaining a weird look from Tony.

Sorry I had to lol.

"Were you ever gonna tell me?" I asked, hurt. He looked down at the ground, avoiding eye contact, and whispered loud enough for me to hear "I don't know...". "Peter I liked you. When I found out you liked Liz I tried to move on. The next thing I knew I was falling for Spider-Man. Then Spider-Man ditched me. My heart was broken twice. The part that hurts the most is that it was by the same person. You. I feel like a complete idiot for not realizing it sooner." I explained to a very baffled Peter. I turned around and walked out of the room.

I knew that smile looked too familiar.

Peter's POV
(Y/N) walked out of the room, leaving an awkward silence between Mr.Stark and I. I rubbed the back of my neck. The silence finally broke when Mr.Stark began to question what had just happened. He stared at me and said sternly "Kid? Mind telling me what the hell just happened?". I ended up just telling him everything and he just looked at me in such disappointment. Not long after, that disappointment turned into a little bit sympathy, that he rarely showed. He pat my shoulder and told me "You're on your own kid." and walked out the room leaving me there, alone.

What did I just do?

Third Person POV
(Y/N) made her way up to her room. Once she entered, she shut the door and leaned against it. She slowly slid down to the floor, sitting against the door. Sighing, she ran her fingers through her hair as she tried to process all the new information she had just been provided with.

Peter put his mask back on and swung his way up to the roof of the Facility, sitting on the ledge. He proceeded to become frustrated with himself, thinking about how stupid he had been for not telling (Y/N) sooner. He wished that he had just said something at the start, then none of this would've happened.

When Tony Stark left Peter in the room he had no idea what he had just witnessed. He sighed and shook his head, face palming. Teenagers. He walked to his personal bar, grabbing a few alcoholic beverages. After a while he got up thinking about what to do next. Tony went back down to his lab going back to his very busy schedule. With training, spending time with Pepper, basically raising a teenager for like two weeks, his business, and making sure Earth is safe, he never really had much time to work on his suit.

He had been tweaking his Iron Man suit a few weeks ago, but never really finished. He had some idea for Nanotechnology so he began to work on that earlier that month. It hadn't quite worked just yet but he was so sure that he was going to get it today. This time the attempt was most likely to succeed because he had more information. Tony walked around the laboratory gathering bits and pieces he was going to need for it to work. Once he sat down he placed all his materials onto the table in front of him. "F.R.I.D.A.Y. pull up my notes from yesterday."he requested. Bruce had recently done some research on Nanotechnology. Tony was able to use it and write down some notes that were going to help him improve the suit. Once he started wielding pieces together he noticed the orange sparks flying around. That's the exact moment when Anthony Edward Stark had the most stupid yet brilliant idea.

A/N: Heyyyy it's been awhile. This chapter isn't as long as I wanted it to be but my schedule is a total mess right now. School started the other day and I already have so much homework so that sucks. My volleyball practices are starting soon so I know for sure that my updates on this book will be very slow. I'm sorry it took so long, I'm really trying to write as much as I can.
