Ella's POV

I could've stayed sane if this luxurious place had belonged to a rich hot guy whom I somehow persuaded to leave the bar with me yesterday to spend the night.

This "palace" that was decorated with way too much golden actually belonged to a rich hot guy whom I couldn't stop thinking about. But, he and everyone else who have barged into my room since I woke up were wearing ridiculous outfits and had to behave like I was somehow higher in hierarchy than them.

I could see "knights" passing by from a little space, my door wasn't completely closed, with their shining armors and swords that I had only seen in movies or museums.

Did I time travel?

Do I actually have fatal wounds so I am in a coma dreaming about a world that doesn't exist anymore?

"Milady, I prepared the bath for you. And here is the dress you can wear." sound of a girl whom I assumed was one of the maids brought me back to the 'reality'.

"Milady? Who uses worlds like that these days? You can call me Ella. What is your name?" I said touching her arm trying to sound friendly. She looked 1-2 years younger than me. But she flinched, she was surprised like I had done something wrong.

"My name is Fleur milady. I'm sorry, it's king's order. We are obligated to serve you in the best way possible." She said half bowing. I wasn't used to speaking with people without making eye contact.

"Well, Fleur. I am not someone superior like your "king" said. I am just like you and if you still insist on serving me the best way possible then I would feel happier if you called me by my name." I could understand her, she somehow reminded me of myself. If only I could hold my mouth though...

"Of course milady...I mean Ella." She was still hesitant but I was glad.

"Alright Fleur I think I can have a bath by myself and I'm pretty sure I can wear that dress by myself, you can go." I said with a reassuring smile.

"But Miss Ella.." I took the dress from her hands, it felt heavier then it seemed on Fleur's hands.

"Just Ella." I reminded as I slowly sent her out of my room and closed the huge white door with golden engravings at the corners.

The bathroom which was included in this huge room had a huge bathtub in the middle and it was way too luxurious for a place that people only used to have a bath.

Thanks to Fleur there was a beautiful lavender smell everywhere, my favorite scent.

While I was undressing myself I realized the ring on my finger, it was so light that I hadn't even noticed it's existence. It was a shining blue almost turquoise. I had never seen a stone like that so it seemed out of this world yet somehow it was on my finger so hat couldn't be the case.

And no matter what I did I couldn't take it off my finger, the more I tried the more it hurt.

One more thing added on my list of unexplainable events since I woke up in here.

In the end I gave up and decided to have a bath quickly.

External POV

The queen kept speaking while walking up and down in the huge bedroom making his head spin.

"My dear son, your father and I are quite serious this time. You're not a prince anymore, you should stop fooling arond. You've already become the king. You need an heir before it's too late and for that you need to marry. What if something happens to you? Don't you think about the future of this kingdom?"
