"I would love to." Henry said with a cool demeanour although he felt excited inside, as he offered his arm to her as an act of courtesy.

Clearly she actually didn't know how huge the palace she was in.

'She couldn't hear my reputation on the skies', he thought. It was gonna take longer than Ella could imagine, Henry smiled with anticipation.

Ella on the other hand chose to not question him. She took the arm he offered as an act of kindness.

Yes, not because she wanted to be close to him.

"So here's the east wing where your room is." Henry said as they passed through the long hallway with doors arm in arm, Ella stopped counting cause there were too many of them.

And clearly main 'concept' of this palace was 'I'm rich and the rest of the world should know it.' It was all just golden, golden and more golden. She felt like she was in a museum again only the walls looked new and polished and the grey marble ground wasn't eroded by the footsteps although there were many people in the palace.

People she somehow didn't encounter when with Henry.

Henry on the other hand couldn't believe he ,as the king, was showing around to a girl who had nothing to do with royalty.

His mother would faint at the sight as Ella had nothing to offer him, according to her. Neither wealth and a respected last name nor a strategic alliance or acres of land unlike Isabella.

Ella only offered him, her companionship and smile and her... sarcastic remarks.

He enjoyed every second of it.

After a long walk they were finally on the other side of the palace as Henry explained, the west wing.

Two wings were connected by a white marble bridge with purple flowers surrounding the long columns standing strong on both ends.  There was also a narrow artificial river full of colourful lillies under the bridge.
