Note: Hi! The new chapter is finally ready. I have actually been suffering from writer's block lately although I have planned the story out and listening to the sound of rain really helped me so I put it in the banner because I also think it goes well with this chapter. It might make you feel you are inside the story if you listen to it while you are reading :). Enjoy!! Please don't forget to comment and vote. Love you all!!

There was no way out.
Until someone suddenly held her arm and turned her around.
Her head hit a hard chest and she froze for a moment with the impact. Seconds ago she was withstanding to the thunder on her two lonely feet but now, she was being held really tightly and closely by strong muscular arms.
She couldn't see anything.
She couldn't even feel the touch because the satin cold fabric of the black cape around her body literally keeping her in, like a prisoner.
But she knew would definitely get sick without it.
She hated it, she needed it.
Then a sudden realization came to her.
The more she stayed inside it, the darker and more desperate she felt. Her mind was being dragged to a dangerous place that made her want to end it all. Maybe the creature had decided to end her from the inside by taking away all of her hope, her joyful dreams and goals she wanted to accomplish. He was killing her by murdering her love towards life.
If only she could figure out, it was the Queen trying to take away her last drop of hope. The Queen who was bleeding out.
She knew she had to go back to her brave, defensive self again. She was the girl who fought back a freaking knight, two in fact, got away from execution, still refused to stay with a murderer in her injured state and ran through the lightning barefoot in unpaved roads. She hated herself for feeling vulnerable after going through so much. She got back to her senses and strongly pushed the person who was holding her.
Adrien stumbled a little bit as he had nothing to hold onto in the ancient cave but pulled himself together in a second. A moment of letting his guard down and she had already caught him off guard, he knew he had to be careful. He didn't think this would be her reaction after a hug.
'Finish her, she doesn't deserve your sympathy, just like everyone else.' He brushed the thought off.
Then he watched her petite stature again, how she looked fragile but resilient at the same time seconds ago in his arms. How radiant she still managed to look when she was surrounded by his black cape.
Gathering his focus felt harder and harder every passing moment. He took a deep breath and cleared his throat.
"Like you said, Ella. You hate me but you need me." Adrien's dark figure stared back at her not in a mocking way but in a 'you may hate me but I care about you' kind of way. She knew it was her imagination as she saw the silhouette of the blue eyes of the only man who actually cared about her.
