Ella's soul and body felt like she was literally on fire in the ocean of emotion. She could feel the sweet pain of excitement in her stomach.
Her mind was blurry and she couldn't think about anything but the king who was holding her in his arms.
She never liked cliché moments but these feelings, so strong almost pulling her in like a black hole that were new to her...
That moment felt nothing like a cliché.
Something was changing inside of her. She was both in control and ready to lose it at the same time. Yet she didn't feel the slightest fear.
Their faces were closer now, she closed her eyes.
"Your highness!" A woman said with a surprised, in a bad way, voice.
Ella suddenly opened her eyes, straightened up and pulled apart from Henry, feeling guilty somehow.
And the magic was gone.
The woman came closer to them with a look of disapproval, contempt and betrayal in her sultry green eyes.
"Isabella?" Henry also seemed astonished but to Ella's dismay, he knew who the woman was.
"I knew that you would be here, it was a little bit unexpected to see you with,..." Isabella stopped for a moment.
"Ella." Ella said quicky again as if she was guilty. Somehow she couldn't say what she wanted to say when Isabella's eyes filled with even more contempt and hatred. Ella confined herself with a mere thought, 'How cold hearted she must be to hate someone she just met' .
"Anyway, it doesn't matter." Isabella started as if she wasn't the one who stopped in the first place, ignoring Ella's presence she slowly turned around as the bottom part of her purple-blue dress flew in harmony with her long brown waves in her hair and with that could only belong to a royal.
"Isabella, what are you doing here?" Henry intervened with an obvious anger that he tried hard to hold in. Only then Ella noticed that there was an aspect in their relationship or some kind of past the two shared that herself, only being a stranger couldn't comprehend.
"Now, is that way to welcome a woman who feels nothing but love towards you, my king?" She slowly approached and was even closer to Henry now, leaving Ella completely out of their conversation. All along Henry still watched her with same blue eyes that were now at a darker shade of rage.
"We haven't seen each other for only a little time and I come back, only to find you with a maid in our special place." Isabella wore a mask of sadness looking at Henry like he betrayed her, like they had a relationship that gave her the right to feel so.
A sudden realization came crushing down on Ella. Of course he didn't have feelings for her. He was the freaking "king". She on the other hand, was a... she didn't even remember much from her past. The more she stayed the harder it became for to remember.
