Her heart knew where she needed to be.
Surprisingly, soon after arriving at the less crowded parts of the city her car started acting weirdly.
"Please, don't. Haven't we been through everything together? Just bear with me for a while" Ella begged.
The day she decided to go to an adventure her car decided to break down.
Thankfully she managed to park her car to a decent place instead of getting stuck in the middle of the road after spending great effort and a session of disappointed cries.
By the time she left the car the sun has been right at the top, radiating heat that became more and more unbearable every passing minute. She was glad to have worn a thin white dress just above her knees.
She took her little pink clutch and locked the car. Only then she found the opportunity to look around closely.
She was not at a bad or dangerous part of the city as she expected. And the heat felt slightly more bearable now that she was outside.
Right in front of her, there was a long line of colourful not so new buildings and she was mesmerized by the harmony of soft pastel colours under the sun rays.
Pink, green, blue... Reflecting light as people passed by without even the slightest glance.
She crossed the road, stepped in the colourful gates and was met with the instant relaxing chilliness of being under the shade. She could still see the street full of nostalgia between the columns whilst following the others.
The changing colour of historical columns had a calming effect in her mind and soothed her soul. The birds of Paris chirped above the rooftops.
The only missing thing was the sound of music, her hand reached to her clutch, she plugged her blue tangled earphones to her phone and chose a song.
" I see the crystal raindrops fall And the beauty of it all Is when the sun comes shining through To make those rainbows in my mind When I think of you sometime And I want to spend some time with you "
" Just the two of us We can make it if we try Just the two of us Just the two of us Building castles in the sky Just the two of us You and I "
The relaxing melodies of the instruments added to her comfort and joy as she walked on by but soon she realized she wasn't following the crowd anymore.
She was alone.
She stopped the music to notice her surroundings.
She could feel different emotions swimming inside. Nervousness, anticipation, an urge to push the boundaries of her comfort zone.
