"No Cecilia, nobody is dying today. You are going to save Ella from execution and in return I am going to save your life."
"I don't care if this wound kills me, which I know it won't, I can't let Ella live or she will ruin everything I sacrificed my life for. She has already ruined many things. We have peace no more, we suffer from feelings that belong to your world." Cecilia said falling on the ground at the end with the sudden exhaustion of blood loss.
"Don't play naive. Evil has always existed in this world, it's not her fault. And I told you. You won't execute her, I will take her away. You will live happily ever after."
"There is no happily ever after. You either win or lose and the war starts all over again. We may seem just like a story to you but we are not."
"If you think 'this' is winning than you really are hopeless Cecilia." Adrien said kneeling so that their faces are closer, pointing out to her pitiful state. "And yes I made sure this wound is not going to kill you but you will wish it did. You will suffer and so as your kingdom."
At last Adrien left the Queen in agony without pity, he turned around and vanished behind his wide dark cape like he always did.
He looked down at the blue sphere he carried at the tip of his necklace on his chest. Half of it was still shining.
Soon it would need more souls to go back. He needed to get to Ella.
He turned his amber eyes on the always shining sun of the story world among the blue open skies and immediately lifted his hand to the level of eyes. He was not meant to be in the light, he needed the dark. If couldn't bring night into the day then he would get rid of the sun.
He reappeared on a high hill full of green grass, the kind of natural beauty that could only exist in fairy tales.
He looked down at the glorious palace, that seemed so little from his point of view, in which everyone was suffering.
It was never meant to happen. He saw a faint silhouette of Ella's face in the shining air.
The girl who belonged to the light. But darkness would be her saviour today.
He finally took of his dark gloves and lifted his hands to the sky, stretched out his palms, focused all his energy on the dome without any clouds.
"Sit pluvia cadat deorsum." He said, his eyes getting the same old brighter color almost turning white with energy of dark magic flowing through his long fingers.
The sky was immediately charged with extraordinary electricity, a breeze flowed through the creases of his cape gaining more power and more speed with the effect of his magic and soon the air around him started turning like a tornado.
The grey clouds covered everything above, the birds flew away to hide in their nests.
He tilted his head back and closed his eyes.
The first drop of rain fell on his cheek.
And two more followed.
Perfect, he thought.

"Wake up, witch. Your last meal is here." The knight whose face was hidden under his helmet said throwing the almost empty tray on the ground as if he was feeding a rat.
"Full bread, I see you are feeding me well because you will burn me."
"We are keeping you alive to make sure we can kill you in the way you deserve."
