3rd person point of view
Skipping time to when Shane went all haywire and opened the barn
Arianna was sitting in the porch when Shane came with the bag of guns. She stood up, Not expecting this.
"Whats all this? I thought we weren't allowed to carry." Arianna defends. Shane shoves past her, Giving a rifle to Daryl.
"We, Well we can and we have to." Shane tells her. "It was one thing standin' around pickin' daises when we thought this place was safe, And now it ain't. How about you man? You gonna protect yours?" Shane asks Glenn, Giving him a shotgun. "Can you shoot?" Shane asks Maggie. Before she could say anything, Arianna speaks up.
"Can you stop? If you don't stop handing out these guns, Hershel's gonna make us leave tonight." She confronts.
"We have to stay Shane." They hear Carl plead.
"Don't worry. We ain't goin' nowhere." Shane says, Then he gives a gun to Carl.
"Oh shit!" Arianna warns, Directing to Jimmy, Hershel and a walker. Everyone looks in her direction.
"What the hell is this?" Shane yells, Making them all bolt to them.
Arianna skids to a stop, Stumbling forward.
"Are you kiddin' me? Do you see what your holdin' onto?" Shane yells at Hershel.
"I see who I'm holdin' onto!" Hershel spits back.
"No man, You don't! These things ain't shit! They ain't people! They're dead! They ain't gonna feel nothin'! Because do you know what they do?! They kill! These are the things that killed Amy! They killed Otis and they're gonna kill all of us!" Shane yells.
"Shane shut up!" Arianna screams, Getting up with lots of difficulty.
"Hey Hershel, Let me ask ya somethin'. Can a living, Breathing person walk away from this?" Shane asks, Shooting the walker three times. "That's three rounds to the chest! If that's someone who's alive, Can they just take that? Why is it still comin?" He shoots it twice now. "That's the heart, The lungs! Why is it still comin'?" Shane yells.
"Shane! That's enough already!" Arianna yells.
"Yeah, Your right girl, That is enough." Shane says, Putting a round in the walkers head. "ITS ENOUGH RISKING OUR LIVES FOR A LITTLE GIRL WHO'S GONE! ENOUGH LIVING NEXT TO A BARN FULL OF THINGS THAT ARE TRYIN' TO KILL US! NOW IF Y'ALL WANNA LIVE, IF Y'ALL WANNA SURVIVE, YOU GOTTA FIGHT FOR IT! IM TALKING ABOUT FIGHTIN'! RIGHT HERE, AND RIGHT NOW!"
The walkers come stumbling out one after the other. Arianna instantly takes out her black handgun and starts to shoot. When they all thought it was over, It wasn't.
Arianna's daughter came out of the woods right before Sophia.
"Jess." Arianna says under her breath. She falls to her knees, Tears streaming down her cheeks. "No Jess. No.."
Then two gunshots occurred. Arianna watched as her daughters body falls to the ground. She turned around, Facing Shane. She went up to him and punched him in the face.
"YOU KILLED MY DAUGHTER!" Arianna screams. She gets held back by Daryl. "YOU CRAZY SON OF A BITCH! YOU KILLED HER! YOU KILLED MY JESS!"
She begins to cry as Daryl holds her in his arms.
"He killed my daughter.. He killed her.."
Arianna wasn't seeing Shane as Shane. She was seeing him as her boyfriend that was supposed to collect her daughter at school while Arianna went to work. She never thought that was going to be the last time she would see her daughter again.
Everyone stood in silence after that. Nobody talked, Nobody moved. They all just laid their eyes on Arianna.
The next day, They held a service for their dead loved ones. Arianna went, Feeling sour and bitter.
"Ari, Would you like to say a few words?" Hershel asks her. Arianna stops staring at her daughters grave.
"She was too young. Too innocent. She was just a child." Arianna angrily says. "She didn't need to die." Then she walks away from the ceremony.
Arianna sat by the trees, Sniffling quietly. She wiped her eyes when she heard a snap of twigs. It was Daryl. He sat next to her, Giving her a tiger lily. She accepts the flower thankfully.
"I didn't know you had a little girl." Daryl tells her. Arianna tucks a piece of hair behind her ear.
"Nobody did. Not my parents, Not my siblings, I had no friends growing up." Arianna says. They sit in silence.
"When they found you, You were looking for her." Daryl says.
"Call me Arianna." Arianna bravely says. "Call me Arianna. That's my real name."
"I'll call you Arianna then." Daryl says. She laces her fingers with his and puts her head on his shoulder.
A few minutes pass and they're still sitting in silence. Arianna lifts up her head slowly. The turn and face each other. They slowly connect their lips together.
