It's been about a week since my encounter with the captain. Nothing had really changed apart from my allowance being cut. Which means no money. The doors opened and my mother walked through.

"No captain today then..." I said briefly looking up from my phone.
"No, honey" she said taking a seat to my left.
"Look I understand everything was very heated last week, so I'm giving you another chance..." my mother said her eyes pleading with all their might.
I switched off my phone and looked at her
"Nate just face it you can't go through college with no financial support, it just won't work!"
"I'll get a job" I suggested.
Her face looked annoyed but more worried.
"Darling, just let us help, We love you, i love you, I just want to take care of you, do it for me?" She pleaded one last time. She stood up and headed for the exit "just think about it."
And with that she left.

I had decided to go and see lexie. Her happiness was contagious. When I got to her floor her brother answered the door.
"She's in her room" he said walking away hardly even acknowledged I was there.
I walked down the hall to her room and knocked on the door before opening it.

"Hi" she said her ruby lips stretched into a grin. She walked over resting her arms on my shoulders. I intwined my arms around her waist snuggling my head into her shoulders. Resting her head on mine she asked "you ok?"
"Yea" I said "just missed you" I walked over to the bed sitting down as I watched her cheeks blush.
"I missed you too, but I know somethings up?" She persisted walking over to me.
"It's just the captain"
