I dropped her off at the airport myself before returning home to bed. I woke that morning every inch of my body craving coffee. I got up and went out to the kitchen in order to satisfy my needs. I found Jackson sitting on the counter opposite the kettle patiently waiting for it to boil.
"Your up early" I half stated half asked.
"Couldn't sleep" he mumbled not even bothering to look at me.
"That won't help" I replied gesturing towards the half boiled kettle.
He shrugged.
"How are you feeling after... you know" I stumbled for the words.
"I was discharged" he finished resting his head in his hands. "Fine."
"You never told us what happened" I pushed hoping for an answer.
"It was nothing a fluke I guess" he sighed as the kettle dinged. He slipped off the counter and filled a mug.
"You want some" He slurred.
"Yea" I replied grabbing a mug from the cupboard.

I was sat at my desk organizing some papers when my phone rang.
"Good evening sir" a voice spoke easily recognized as our doorman.
"Evening detmound"
"You have a visitor a... miss Waldorf"
"Send her up please"
"Of course sir"
I hung up before finishing off and getting up to greet my guest.

When I had got to the door Jackson was already there.
"You are a fine young man I see why my daughter admires you soo much" she told him. Lexie half chocked on her coffee which in return got a glare from Jackson.
"Elenor Waldorf what gives me the pleasure"
"Waldorf!" Jackson spat out a slightly shocked but mostly disgusted look on his face. Lexie again chocked on her coffee which received a glare from me this time.

"I came to discuss a... I guess I could say a business plan" she replied not fased by the events which just occurred.
"Of course" I said confusion across my face as I gestured towards the sofa.
She smiled before taking a seat followed by me.

"well as you heard my daughter Blair has a 'crush' on your son. And as you know I will do anything for my Blair so I guess what I'm saying is... I want to setup our children."
