"I'll speak to the doctor about you discharge" Thomas said heading for the door.
"No... dad it's fine... I'll talk to her later" he stumbled out. He's hiding something. The cancer must be back. I wasn't there last time I mean I only met Thomas three years ago. Jackson was two years into remission by then. But I know he had it. And he's in hospital again.

I took my phone out of my pocket and googled the symptoms of Leukemia.
"Urr... dad could you get me a drink I'm really thirsty" Jackson said guilt plastered on his face. I smirked before returning to my phone. I knew it. Fainting, weakness, fatigue and the nosebleeds it's got to be back! Now I have leverage.

Thomas left and shortly after Lexie's phone rang. She excused herself answering the call. Which left me alone with Jackson. Perfect.

"I know you know" I said slyly sitting at the end of his bed.
"I don't know what your talking about." He replied sitting himself up.
"Look I can read your face like last weeks issue of Vogue, stop fooling with me and spill. How much do you know? No that doesn't matter you know, that's all that matters. So I propose a deal?" I ranted hyped on my skills. I've always been good at blackmailing.

"What do you mean?" He answered a hint of boredom across his face.
"You keep quiet about my other family and I'll keep quiet about your cancer being back"
"Wait how did you know!" He said lurching up confusion and worry spread across his face. Oh how I loved this part!
"I didn't however you just confirmed it" I chuckled. "So do we have a deal?"
He reluctantly nodded just as Thomas came back through the door, a smile across his face and a glass of water in his hand.
