SANA'S POV
Right before Dahyun could reach out for her phone, the ringing stopped and it was, of course, Lewis. I've probably never been more annoyed. "Why don't you call him back?" I said. Yes, I hated Lewis with all my heart but I loved her and I didn't want to see her worried. "It's alright I'll call back later, now is our alone time,saida saida saida," she said so sweetly I felt so warm and fuzzy inside. I couldn't take this cuteness I wanted to squish her. I pulled her in for a hug. It felt amazing, I haven't hugged her in quite awhile. "uh, Sana? We're holding ice creams," she said awkwardly yet she was giggling. "I love you," I replied as if I didn't hear her previous sentence. "Me too," I could feel her jaw forming a smile on my shoulder and I smiled to. I hoped time would stop like this forever. We continued walking back happily.
We walked pass the dorm gates and opened the door. The rest of the members were in the living room looking extremely worried. I've never seen them this quiet since the waiting room moments in SIXTEEN. And all the members together in the living room during the afternoon was pretty rare. "What's wrong?" I slowly asked, dreading to hear the answer. It would definitely be bad news. Dahyun looked at me, she looked so afraid. I just wanted to pull her into my arms. "Everything will be alright, I'll protect you no matter what," I would say. But all I could do was give her an assuring smile. "It's about Lewis," Nayeon said. She was usually one of the loudest, now she was even softer than Mina's whispers. "I'll handle this, I caused it," Chaeyoung said. You could easily tell there was a lot of fear in poor Chae's eyes. Mina wrapped her arm around Chaeyoung. "Don't worry tiger, they'll understand," Mina said. I could barely hear her, only read her lips. Chaeyoung turned to Mina and smiled. "I accidentally... told Lewis," Chaeyoung stammered at almost every word she said, and then hesitated. "I mean, it was just pissing me off so badly! He kept trying to steal you! I was just trying to help," she slowly gained back her confidence as she defended herself. "What exactly did you tell Lewis?" Dahyun said. It felt as if it's been years since I heard her voice. I've never heard her sound so worried before. Why did she even care so much about whatever Chaeyoung told Lewis?
