"um, aunt may? can i talk to you a second?" i said, as aunt may walked in the door.

"of course, sweetheart!" she replied

"well, um, okay, oh god i'm so nervous." i turned around and whispered to myself. "you can do this, peter, come on."

"honey, what's up, why are you nervous?"

"okay, aunt may, i'm trans. so i don't identify as a girl anymore, and my new name is peter. if you're not happy, mr. stark says he's happy to take me in..." i could feel tears in my eyes, no, i can't cry.

"oh, don't worry, do you think just because i've got a 'prehistoric way of thinking' i'll be transphobic?"

"i don't know, it's a hard thing to admit, aunt may. i'm sorry for being nervous." i started crying, and she gave me a hug.

"oh, peter, calm down, is there anything else you need to tell me?"

"um, i'm gay as well. i always liked boys, but only now is it controverisal." i laughed, and so did aunt may.

"it's all fine, petey. look, why don't you tell tony- mr. stark- that you're staying with me?"

"yeah, i will, thanks aunt may!"
