Sam's P.O.V

We had been driving for hours trying to get home. The ride was quiet, and there was a lot of tension between Dean and I. I sort of blamed him for y/n leaving. I thought everything was going great between us, and then she up and left without saying a word. I couldn't help but blame him. It wasn't really fair, cause as far as I knew it wasn't his fault. I was just hurt and needed someone to blame.

Dean had not said much on the subject, in fact he preferred we didn't talk about her at all. Which was weird, but not unbelievable. Their relationship had become so strong though. He was beginning to see her as family, rather than just a friend. If Dean was hurt he tended to pretend the thing that hurt him did not exist. It's not the healthiest method, but it's just how he was. So maybe they had a falling out. But I didn't know cause neither him or y/n would say.

I'm am glad that y/n is still talking to me. After out texts last night I know that she is safe, and it wasn't me who pushed her away. The knowledge that it was not my fault, however didn't change the fact that she was still gone.

We pulled into the garage of the bunker in complete silence. Not one word was said as we got out and unloaded the Impala. I got my things as fast as I could and left Dean behind in the garage. I was still mad at him and wanted to be away from him for a bit.

I quickly walked down the hall way that lead to the war room. The hall was dark and peaceful. The environment was calming, in a way that only home can be. However the peace did not last long, because as soon as I stepped into the war room Cas was in my face yelling.

"How could you Winchesters be this stupid? What's wrong with you?" Cas stomped around the room.

"What the hell's going on in here." Dean yelled as he entered the war room, dragging his duffel bag behind him. "Cas what are you doing here?" He threw his bag on the table before flopping down in a chair.

"I'm here to inquire as to why you assbutts turned y/n out. You idiots don't think before you do anything." Cas said as he stepped in front of Dean to stare down at him angered.

"Is she okay? Have you spoken to her?" I was frantic for news. Y/n did not tell me much, and I just wanted to know if she was okay. I missed her so much.

"As well as can be expected considering she is all alone, and being hunted." Cas retorted. "I blame you imbeciles for this. I asked you to protect her not throw her out."

"She left one her own Cas. Not our fault she can't take care of her self. She's gone, not our problem." Dean sighed. I could tell that he was not interested in talking about this anymore. What did Cas mean being hunted? Who would ever want to hurt y/n?

"Really Dean? She left on her own did she?" Cas had apparently learned how to use sarcasm.

I was confused. Both Dean and y/n told me that she left all on her own. What had they not told me? "Cas, what do you mean she didn't leave on her own, and hunted by who?"

"You don't know?" Cas looked at me quizzically and tilted his head. He turned to Dean next. "You didn't tell him that y/n was an angel."

"Hell Cas you think I'm just gonna tell him that the bitch, who has been using us to protect her sorry ass was an angel. Hell I just found out my self." Dean quickly defended himself.

I can't believe that y/n was an angel. Why wouldn't she tell me, I thought we were closer than that. And Dean lied to me, again.

"Careful how you speak of her Dean. She is an angel, and very important to me." Castiel was looming over Dean, and spoke to him in a threatening tone. Dean looked unamused.
