Your question made Dean freeze. He stared at you for a few moments, like he was trying to figure out if he could trust you with this information you were not supposed to have.
"How did you find out about that y/n?" Dean was squinting his eyes at you. Studying your face to see if you would lie.
"I-I over heard you talking to someone named 'Zeke' a minute ago. But, it sounded like Sam." You replied. Throughout your whole explanation you had not broken eye contact with Dean once. You had read that eye contact shows how you respect someone. If Dean respected you, he would trust you too.
Dean suddenly got up and started pacing the room, running his fingers through his spiky hair. "His name's Ezekiel." He sighed. "He is healing my brother."
You had heard of Ezekiel before, Cas had said he was a loyal solider, very trustworthy. "Why does he need to heal Sam?" You asked. As far as you could tell Sam was fine. Although you did not have your grace so you could not tell for sure
Dean made his way back to your bed and sat down next to you. "Sammy was gonna slam the gates of hell shut. But... I stoped him." Dean hung his head almost like he was ashamed of his actions.
"Why did you stop him?" You asked.
Dean looked up at you with his emerald eyes. "Because it would have killed him. And I could not lose him." Dean looked down again. "He almost died, he was in a coma, I- I didn't know what to do. I was losing the only family I had left. So I prayed, and Ezekiel came, he is helping Sam."
"Does Sam know?" You asked as you reached out to rub soothing circles on Dean's back. You had to ask because Sam did not seem like the kind of person to willingly be possessed, no matter the reason.
"No. And he can't find out y/n. Sam will eject Zeke before he is finished healing him, that could kill him." Dean looked you in the eyes now. "Please don't tell Sam y/n." He pleaded with you.
You could not say no to him. You did not want to let Dean down. And at the same time you did not want to see Sam die. You shook you head. "I won't tell him."
Dean sighed in relief. "Thank you."
*******Three hours later you where avoiding Sam if at all possible. Not because you wanted to of course, but out of self preservation. He was still possessed by an angel after all, and the angels kinda hated you right now.
You had completely avoided any room he was in, and he was starting to notice.
Sam had been in the library all afternoon, and he was blocking your only way to the kitchen. The only way being straight threw the library. You where practically starving to death, so you decided to risk a confrontation with Sam/Ezekiel and go find yourself some food. On your way to the kitchen you ran right into Sam. You would have been knocked off your feet if Sam had not caught you and pulled you up.
"H-h-hi Sam." You stuttered as you looked you at him. "What's up?" Sam still held you in his arms. His nearness was making your heart beat speed up. You really hoped he wouldn't notice.
"Hey y/n, not much. I have been researching all day, trying to find us a case. " He said. Suddenly he realized that he was still holding you, and blushing he quickly let go.
"Oh cool, well good luck!" You said as you turned to quickly race off to the kitchen. But you barely made it a few feet before Sam's calloused hand grabbed your arm stopping you right in your tracks.
"Wait, uhm do you maybe wanna help me research, you know so you can practice. Sam asked as you turned around to face him. He was still blushing, and he was studying the floor in front of him, refusing to make eye contact with you. Honestly it was incredibly adorable, and you almost agreed to help him. Then you remember Ezekiel. What if this was not Sam talking to you? What if Ezekiel was only doing this to get to you?
