i had a dream about you last night. you were driving while i was in the passenger seat. we were singing along to some song that i can’t remember, and you had the biggest grin on your face. the sunlight was hitting your face. it was breathtaking how lovely you looked. it illuminated that faint white scar on your cheek, to the freckles across your nose.
i guess you caught me staring. because i held my breath when you brushed my hair away from my face. i don’t remember anything other than that, but when i woke up, i swear i felt your touch even if it was just for a second.
but you weren’t there. and now i miss our drives to nowhere.
