"I like the red one," I tell Evan.
"What, you don't like me in blue?" he says, holding onto the dressing room door, smiling at me.
"I like you best when you're naked," I tease.
He is as bad as a girl when it comes to shopping.
"Fine. I'll get the red," he says, tossing the blue over the door.
"Great," I yawn, I'm worn out from the shopping spree.
"I have a surprise for you," Evan says from behind the door.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, I think you will like it." He comes out of the dressing room dragging a hand through his hair. God he is so hot.
"You know how I feel about surprises," I point out.
It's been a few days since I saw Gray and Dad. But I feel better about everything.
"We are meeting Gray and your dad for dinner. And then I will tell you what the surprise is."
I get in the truck wondering what he has up his sleeve that involves my family.
Even Evan is happier now that I made up with them.

As we all sit in the restaurant, I'm pleased to be with at least two of my family members.
My dad and Gray like Evan now that they are taking the time to get to know him.
"This is amazing," I say around bites of my fajitas.
"I can tell," Evan says, watching me devour my food. It's so good.
"What? It is," I smirk, licking my lips.
"Oh I believe you," he smirks. "Almost orgasmic judging by the sounds your making."
I slap him in the arm.
Evan clears his throat. "I sort of have a surprise for all of you, and I hope you like the idea."
"Well, let us be the judge of that spit it out," Gray jokes with Evan.
"Eve has told me about a million times how much she loves Jamaica. So I made all the arrangements for all of you to take another vacation there," he says.
I am shocked, and my dad and Gray are too. This is the sweetest thing Evan has done and he has done so many.
"I don't know what to say. That is really expensive, Evan," my dad says, trying to be polite.
"It's no problem. I want Eve to have time with her family. I know it means a lot to her. So the price doesn't make a difference. It's her happiness that matters to me." He takes my hand.
"What about Mom?" Gray asks.
"She can come. There's a ticket for her if she wants to, everyone is invited. I think it will be a good time," he says.
"What about you?" I raise an eyebrow.
"I want you to have time with your family. I live with you. I can survive a couple days without you. I want you to have fun with them," he says.
I look away.
As nice as it sounds, it would have been nice to be with Evan as well. I put it out of my head and finish my dinner.
"I am all for it. Kay probably wouldn't be willing to take the trip," my dad says, looking irritated at the thought.
"I don't want to be rude, but fuck her. You will have more fun without her. I think it will be good for all of you," Evan says.
