"Son of a bitch." Dean groaned as he heard a soft knock on the cabins door. He had a chilled beer in his hand and he thought he was done with all these chick flick moments with the people he loved and who loved him.
But the door squealed without him even making a move to get up. Dean couldn't help but feel butterflies flood into his chest.
"Dean?" The voice that spoke so innocently made Dean's heart pound almost out of his chest.
He sprung from his seat and left the chilled beer on the arm of the chair as he shot full speed and clumsily toward the entrance and the voice he had longed for.
"BABY!" Dean's voice screamed and cracked as he found his arms wrapped around his trench coat angel before either of them could blink.
Cas giggled breathlessly and pulled into the hug that would suffocate any human. "Dean." His voice was warm and comforting against the back of Dean's neck.
"Baby, I missed you." Dean didn't give any attempt to let go. So they stood there embraced on the doorstep as their bodies breathed against each other.
"Dean, I hope your time here was pleasant." Cas, hand began to trace tingling circles across Dean's back.
a sigh left his lips. "It was good, actually. God is a pretty cool guy."
Cas chuckled. "He is my father, I can say I have a biased opinion of him. But I knew that He would approve."
"And now what? We have Gods blessing... And hell is still breaking loose." Dean finally pulled his head back and searched the only eyes he could find solace in anymore.
"Gabriel and I have found Azazel. You... It's time you face Lucifer." Cas' voice broke and both knew the pain that trace his words.
"I am facing him head to head?" Dean widened his eyes, confused as to why suddenly Cas seemed okay with putting Dean anywhere near the devil.
"You are the Righteous Man. No matter how much my heart breaks and my mind screams, this is how it has to be." Water started to fog Cas' eyesight. He couldn't stab the blurred view of Dean so he began to furiously rub at his eyes.
"Cas, baby, it's okay." Dean soothed as he brought his hands up and pressed them agains Cas'. He enclosed his hands and brought them away from his face. A smile of comfort broke Dean's lips as he let go of one of Cas' hands to gently rub his thumb over Cas' jaw.
"I can beat this guy." Dean whispered and kept his stare intently on Cas.
"My faith in you is unwavered. But I still worry. I can't help it, or I would." Cas was distraught, but his body was no longer shaking from under Dean's warm touch.
"That's what love is." Dean couldn't help a warmness burn in his gut. Finally, his eyes dropped to Cas' lips and he felt his own cheeks warm. Leaning in slowly, he took Cas' mouth with care and savored the low moan that vibrated between their teeth.
The kiss stayed slow until Dean pulled back and ran his hand through Cas' mop of messy hair. A spark took hold of Cas' body as he clung to Dean's shirt and felt a shiver run down his spine.
"Tell me you love me." Cas whispered as he felt his knees weak under the twinkle of Dean's piercing green eyes.
"I love you with everything I am." Dean's words were so level and drenched in longing that Cas let out a moan and smashed his mouth against Dean's. As their kiss heated, someone cleared their throat from on the porch behind them.
Cas immediately straightened up and pulled back enough to where he wasn't touching Dean, but he could still feel the warmth of his body beside him.
