Forbidden Love.

Chapter 1

The moment I arrived at school in my new blood red camaro, there was a crowd of people surrounding the doorway. I figured it wasn't anything too big so I headed off to find one of my best friends Natalie.

"Hey Natalie" I said walking up to her. Natalie turned and smiled. "Hey Skylar" she said.

"Whats up with the huge crowd?" I asked. "You didn't know?" she asked quietly, I shook my head. "There's a new guy coming to our school, I hear he's transferred all the way from across the world. "  she said excitedly.

I sighed and shrugged my shoulders.

"Yeah so?" I asked.

"You're not excited?!" she asked in shock. Her mouth made an "O". I shook my head. "He's just a guy, I mean he's not the first guy that's come to our school" I mumbled.

"Yeah, but he's a foreign student!, he could be French or Spanish...Or Portuguese or maybe even--"

"NATALIE!" I yelled.

"Calm down, its just a guy, you haven't even met him yet"

Natalie sighed and her eyes fluttered.

"Yeah, but I think this might be a final chance where we actually get to see his face without him transferring the next day from too much attention"  Natalie added.

I shrugged my shoulders, Natalie did have a point there. I mean every new student we've had transferred the kids here make them seem as if their famous. Then when another new kid comes the recent new kid becomes one of us. Its just a cycle of life here at Eastwood Hights. You could just call our school..well..All of the above. Out of the ordinary. Just then I heard girls scream.

"OH MY GOD HE'S HERE!!!" Natalie screamed and she ran ahead into the crowd.

I groaned and rolled my eyes. "What kiss ups" I whispered.

The crowd spread and formed into the shape of a runaway. He walked down curiously, and he looked a little shocked. That wasn't new. I mean he should realize after a day that these kids are crazy.

He had black hair and pail skin as if he had never tanned in his life, his bangs were a bit longer than other boys..not like a Justin Bieber..but..just different. I shook my head and  looked away and walked down the halls to get to my locker. To be honest, I wasn't really a big fan of boys with long bangs, but for some reason, his were okay.

After class I headed to my locker for lunch. I put my books in my locker and closed it and noticed Natalie standing behind it. "Oh hey" I said quietly. "Hey. Where did you go this morning I didn't see you?" She asked. I sighed. "I didn't wanna be late for class, and anyways you were busy seeing the new guy" I explained

 "Yeah, sorry about that" she said. I sighed. "It's fine" I said. "So you want to sit together for lunch?" she asked, I nodded. "Save me a seat, i'll be there in a sec'" I added. She nodded and walked ahead of me.

I sighed and headed to the water fountain. As I turned down the hall my feet stopped fast to notice the new guy was there. I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Just get a drink and get out"I whispered. I walked to the fountain and took a sip and when I looked up I noticed he was staring at me.

"Can I help you?" I asked in a semi-rude tone. He sighed and shook his head. I took another quick sip and turned to walk.

"Hey , yeah I kinda need help with something" he added. I turned and sighed. "What?" I asked.  "I'm kinda lost to where the cafeteria is" He said. "Do you mind showing me the directions?" he asked.

I sighed. "I was just on my way there, you can walk with me if you would like?" I asked He smiled and nodded and we headed down the long hallway. The first few minutes of the walk was silent. Just then he broke the silence.

"So, um , I never asked for your Name" he said. "I'm Chase." he said. I sighed. "Skylar" I said. He smiled. "Quite an interesting name" he said sweetly. I sighed and grinned a little. "Yeah, it means eternal life, strength, love and beauty ." I said. he started to chuckle. "That's honestly a little different than others" he said. I giggled. "Yeah I guess, its not that fun as others." I added. he sighed. "Are you kidding?" he asked.

"My name just means to chase animals" he said. We both started to laugh. "Well its nice to meet you Chase" I said nodding my head. He nodded and smiled. "Thanks" he added.

 Just then we stopped at the cafeteria doors. "Well here it is" I said. he smiled. "Thank you, it was nice meeting you--Um-"

"Skylar" I reminded him . He smiled. "Yes. Skylar" he said and nodded. I nodded and he headed in.

I stopped and smiled. Chase. Such a name. I've never heard anything like it. He was much different than i expected him to be.

I walked into the cafeteria and went to go find Natalie.
