Chapter 7

Chase looked at me full of anger. 

"They know we are here" He alerted.

'Who's 'they' ?" I asked.

"The Ventrue" He growled.

I looked at him full of worry.

"What are they planing to do?" I trembled in fear.

He calmed down a little and put his hand on my shoulder to stop the shaking.

'Everything will be ok, We just got to get out of here" He stated.

"But what about my parents?" I asked.

"You can contact them later, But at the moment we need to pack you're bags and head out because we don't need them finding you" He announced.

I didn't bother asking anymore questions at the moment so we rushed to my room and started packing. In about an hour we had finished packing. We hustled down the stairs and out the front door.

We hopped into Chase's car and he started the engine and we were off. During the drive I turned on  the radio and one of my favorite songs came on. I turned up the music and started singing along.

I finished singing and Chase looked at me in Awe.

"You're really good!" He beamed.

I turned my head and blushed a little.

"Thanks" I spoke.

"No problem" He said.

'So where are we headed?" I asked.

"We are going to my place" He smiled.

'Oh, Ok. How much longer?" I questioned.

"2 more hours" He said turning his head towards me.

I started to get a little sleepy and I had a feeling Chase had noticed as well.

"It's alright if you take a nap, I can  wake you when we arrive" He replied.

I looked at him with a smile.

"Sounds good, Thanks" I yawned.

"It's no biggie" He turned the radio off and a couple minutes later I had fallen asleep.
