Forbidden Love.

Chapter 2

I walked through the crowds of kids until I spotted a furious Natalie sitting at a table alone playing with her food.

"Oh boy.." I whispered to myself quietly. I walked up to her and slowly sat down. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR LIKE 25 MINUTES FOR YOU?!" she burst.

I wasn't sure what to say to her, I mean I guess I kinda got caught up in the moment with Chase,But he's a really sweet and funny guy, and spending some time with him made me forget about having lunch with Natalie. I finally spoke.

"Sorry.. I had to go to my locker quickly to put something away, and I guess I got side tracked" I lied.

Natalie raised her eyebrows and looked at me a little unsure."Ohh, Well now that you are here we can finally chill a lil" She said.

I looked at her with a small smile, I honestly hate lying to one of my best friends but If I told her that I had talked to Chase and gotten to know him better I don't know what she would say. 

"Hey, Skylar you ok? You seem like you have something on your mind?" Natalie spoke.

'I'm fine, just thinking about random thoughts"  I said with one of my best fake smiles.

I looked around the cafeteria that was now filled with everyone and their groups of friends. I noticed chase talking to some of the dudes until he turned his head and noticed me looking at him. He flashed a smile and It made me feel butterflies exploding from inside of me. I blushed a little and turned my attention to Natalie trying not to focus on what had just happened. Do I like Chase? I mean I just met the guy this can't be right, I never fall for guys this fast. 

"SKYLAR!" Natalie yelled while moving her hand back and forth in front of my face trying to get my attention. 

Everyone in the room went silent and was now focused on me and Natalie. I took a quick glance and saw Chase chuckling a little as If he had known what I was thinking. I got a little confused but I finally spoke.

"EVERY THINGS OK!, GO BACK TO YOUR BUSINESS" I announced to everyone with all their eyes on me. A few seconds later me and Natalie were no longer the center of attention. 

"Skylar are you sure your ok?, You haven't eaten anything and you seem to be in your own little world" Natalie asked concerned with a slight bit of suspicion.

"Ya i'm fine, Just not that hungry.." I said. Natalie still seemed as if she didn't believe me but she let the situation disappear and act as if nothing happened.*RIING* The lunch bell ringed and all of the students flooded out of the cafeteria and started to head off to their next classes.  Me and Natalie stood up and she tossed her tray away. Time for math, The worst class ever. I've never been good at it. And what makes it even worse is the teacher. Ms.Jenkins.She doesn't care for anything. She always seems to ruin my life with her math.

Natalie and I rushed to our lockers, got our math books and journals and headed to class.

When we arrived everyone had already taken their seats and was ready for Ms. Jenkins to start her class. Me and Natalie took our seats and waited for this horrible hour to end.

Half way through the class we had got an assignment were we had to complete 60 questions with a partner. Automatically me and Natalie looked at each other and smirked. We were partners for almost everything this year, It's great. Everything was going fine until Ms. Jenkins started to speak.

"Alright class, I know most of you have already picked your partners but sadly I have already picked your partners for you" She spoke. The class growned in annoyance. "This assignment will be due Monday so use your time wisely" She said. The class rolled their eyes and waited for her to announce the selected partners.

"Alex and Olivia, Miranda and Jason, Joseph and Dana, Kelsey and David, Natalie and Devon, Skylar and Chase--"

I was completely shocked, I hadn't even noticed that Chase was even in this class. I looked toward Natalie and she was surprised but yet she gave me a thumbs up, I laughed a lil and looked around the room until I had found Chase. He looked at me and smiled a heavenly smile, I smiled back holding back from the burning sensation from my cheeks that wanted to emerge. In a matter of seconds everyone had got up and sat next to their partner to discuss the assignment. I got up and headed toward Chase.

"Hey" I said. 

"Hey" He replied back. "Soo..How are we going to do the assignment?" He asked with curiosity in his voice. "Uhm, Well since there's 60 questions we could do 30 each" I spoke. "Sounds good, But it's due Monday and i'm kinda busy this weekend..."He said nervously. "Oh..Well if your not doing anything today we could go to either my house or yours?" I explained. He smiled a huge smile. "Ya that sounds great, Would it be ok if I came to yours?" He asked. "Ya no problem, You can come home with me if you want and we can do it then?" I said. "Fine with me" He smiled and said. All I could do was smile back.

By the time we were done talking class had ended. We all stood up and headed out for our last class of the day, P.E. I honestly loved P.E, I'm not one of those girls who can't get down and dirty during a game just because they are worried about breaking a nail or something dumb like that. 

"Sky you ready?" Natalie asked using the nickname shes called me since like 5th grade.

"Yea im ready" I said excited. You wanna know why im excited? This months sport is soccer, I adore soccer and im ready to kick some butt.
