"KORTNEY GET UP . WERE FUCKING LATE!" I heard Sammy yell making me sit up instantly . "What?" I mumbled rubbing my eyes .

"We slept in we have to be in Detroit by 7! It's 4 now. Let's go!" My brother said standing in the door way . I looked over seeing Derek not in bed . I got up quickly grabbing my things rushing to the bus . I sat down on the couch letting out a sigh . We all boarded as the bus started up , "Where's Derek?" I looked around . "He's sleeping in his bunk. He's the one that woke us up." My brother chuckled softly.

"Why do you care about him all of a sudden?" Sammy smirked eating a candy bar . I rolled my eyes walking back to the bunks, I seen Derek shirtless sitting on the edge looking down at his phone .

He looked up at me and smiled "Morning sleepy head." He stood up pulling me into a hug . "So you just left me in the hotel? Making us late ?" I laughed sitting down on his bed , he sat down beside me .

"You looked so peaceful, I didn't wanna wake you." He chuckled looking at me . I playfully rolled my eyes looking down at my hands. Derek cleared his throat "Wanna watch a movie?"

"Could you be quiet this time ?"

He smiled and nodded, I grabbed my laptop logging into my Netflix, "You pick a movie, I'll go make us popcorn." I smiled kissing his cheek before walking out .

"What are you guys doing in there?" Nate spoke with a smile . "Just watching a movie" I shrugged as I got the finished popped popcorn out of the microwave placing it into a bowl .

"Mhm sure." They both laughed, rolling my eyes I walk back handing Derek the popcorn before sitting down beside him . I glanced down looking at his tattoos , I looked at the one on his neck. It was in some kind of language.

"What's that say?" I pointed at his neck eating some popcorn. "Ahh ma is interested in my tats." He smirked .
"It's Says High Power, in Chinese." He replies trailing his fingers over it .

I smiled looking up at him, he smiled back before continuing the movie . The movie was Toy Story .

A few minutes into the movie, Derek sat closer to me, his shoulder was touching my arm. I looked down at his hand as he slowly began to move it towards mine, I grabbed it interlocking our fingers together . In the corner of my eye I could see him smile .

We're a couple now, so we gotta do what couples do .

He kept moving uncomfortably, I paused the movie. "What's up with you?" I giggled pausing he movie . "Can't get comfortable, come here." He opened his arms, I climbed into his lap , he rested his chin on my shoulder .

I smiled softly looking down, I looked up at him, "Uhm.. Can I-." He stopped letting out a small sigh, he seemed nervous. I sat in front of him "Can you what?"

He licked his lips, "Can I K-Kiss you?" His voice began to get shakily . "Of course, you don't have to ask." I softly chuckled . "I thought it would be rude of me not to." He laughed nervously.

I smiled scooting closer to him, He looked me in the eyes, his eyes were the prettiest of a Brown I have ever seen . He swallowed slowly as he leaned in, I took a deep breath as he softly placed his lips on mine, I instantly melted into the kiss placing my arms around his neck pulling him closer .

He slowly pulled away, I slowly opened my eyes as I smiled softly looking down and back up at Derek . His face began to turn red as he smiled, teeth and all .

"You're blushing." I laughed, he cleared his throat looking around . "Uhm.. wanna finish the movie?"

I pecked his lips softly, "I'd love to." I snuggled myself up to him, he wrapped his arms around my waist kissing the top of my head before we continued to watch Toy Story .

I was focused on the computer screen, Derek leaned towards my ear "I love you." He softly whispered giving it a small peck . I smiled softly, getting up to go to the bathroom.

I walked out seeing Sammy and My brother staring at me . "Are you and Derek a thing?" My brother asked, he looked pissed . I swallowed harshly, "Um- I-."

"I'm just joking with you sis, If you are together, I'm happy for you guys. I'm glad you found someone that makes you happy. Just let him know if he hurts you, imma have to kill him." Nate laughed pulling me into a hug .

I smiled at him walking back to the bunk, "Babe-." I stopped to find him sleeping peacefully. I stared at him in awe , covering him up lightly kissing his cheek before climbing into bed with him .
