We arrived at Latino's, I unbuckled my seat belt opening the door, "Shut the door" Derek spoke getting out of the car, I shut the door watching Derek walk over to my side opening the door "After you." I chuckled softly grabbing his hand, we walked inside the fancy restaurant as we were greeted by a waiter "Good Evening Mr Luh, your private table for two is ready, right this way ."

The waiter took us to the other side of the restaurant, I seen a single booth, with a candle lit . I smiled softly sitting down looking around the restaurant, noticing that there was a huge fish tank in the middle .

"The Private sweet? Really, that's more expensive than just dining here"
Derek shrugged his shoulders "What can I say? I like to make my girl happy." I giggled softly looking through the menu, "Have you guys found anything you'd like?" The waiter approached us .

"I'll just take the garden salad please and a glass of water" I smiled handing the waiter my menu, Derek ordered his food while the waiter walked back to the kitchen.

"You didn't order no tequila ?" Derek softly chuckled playing with my hand . "No, I don't drink. You know that"

"You're lame" he laughed jokingly as the waiter came back with our food, I stuck my tongue out at him before taking a bite of my salad . We spent our whole afternoon talking, we left the restaurant, I sat in the car as Derek started up the car .

"I have one more surprise for you" Derek turned the green light, "Why?"

"It's our 10 month anniversary, I'm spoiling You than I already do"

"Shit" I mumbled under my breath running my fingers through my hair, "I uhm- I kinda forgot to get you something"

Derek just shrugged his shoulders keeping his eyes on the road, placing his hand on my upper thigh. I placed my hand over his looking out the window . "So what's the other surprise?"

"I gotta go pick it up, we're almost there, close your eyes" He covered my eyes with my hand, I laughed covering them in my jacket .

Derek got out of the car, it was quite for a few minutes until I heard my car door open, and something plop down on my lap, it began to move . "Derek James I swear to god if this is a snake or a spider, we're through!" I muffled trying so hard to not peak .

"Babe, snakes don't have legs" Derek giggles starting up the car as we began to move again . I heard a small Meow, I gasped uncovering my face as I looked at the little animal in complete Awe .

It was a grey kitten, sitting in my lap meowing "Oh my god, She is so cute!! Where did you find her???"

"Just a few minutes ago, I saw the box with her in it, I told you to close your eyes so I could make a U turn to come back to get her" He smiled at me softly petting the kittens head .

"You're so cute" I whined petting the baby cat, "why don't you talk to me like that? Or pet me, shit" Derek joked pulling up into the driveway.

"Because you're not helpless" I laughed getting out of the car, unlocking the door setting the kitty down . I felt arms around me, Derek picked me up making me scream of laughter setting me on the couch "But I'm your boyfriend." He mumbled softly pecking my lips.

I playfully shrugged it off sitting myself up picking up the cat, setting her on my lap stroking her fur . "You know what j just realized?" Derek took the cat in his hands "I now get to take care of two pussies in this household"

I scoffed hitting him in the shoulder, as he died of laughter, "But I'm not gonna eat you, no I'm not" He began to talk to the kitten in a baby voice .

"Derek!! Stop oh my god" I groaned of embarrassment covering my face, hearing a small chuckle escape his lips .

"What are we gonna name her?" He kissed the cats head setting her on the couch, "How about Star".

"Why Star?" Derek chucked lying his head in my lap, I ran my fingers through his hair "The design in her eyes look like a Star and she's a Star" I chuckled continuing to move my fingers through his hair, I stopped getting on my phone. Derek grabbed my hand placing it back in his hair .

I rolled my eyes running them through his hair a few more times before I pushed him off me, he fell onto the floor "Ow".  Star climbed onto his chest lying in front of his face.

I smiled sitting back onto the couch, Derek sat up and flared at me . He smirked standing up, grabbing both of me hands pulling me off the couch, connecting his lips to mine, I wasn't expecting that but I eventually gave in and melted into the kiss, running my fingers through his hair.

Derek pulled away slowly licking his lips, grabbing my hand and leading me upstairs, he hasn't said a word. He took off his shirt along with his shoes, connecting his lips back to mine .

Let's just say that night wasn't so peaceful after all.
