It was the next day, Y/N couldn't stop thinking about the offer the two boys from Manhattan offered. Now Y/N knew just about as well as anyone else, people were more likely to go through with this idea if Brooklyn was supporting it. Y/N could tell that Spot wanted to go alongside with it, but was just to worried that kids and others might get hurt in the process. It was touching, but Y/N understood that it wasn't the best in the long run to just stick with Pulitzer and Hertz's new price.
Y/N knew she had to convince Spot, it was really the only way the strike would work.
"Trever!" Y/N called.
Trever looked up from where he was seated. "What?" He asked.
"What is da best way ta convince Spot ta let Brooklyn join da strike?"
"I don't know? Why ya asking me?" Trever replied.
"Cause I thought you might have a idea."
"Look, Y/N. Youse know Spot better then anyone else here, you try n' figure it out."
Y/N stood thinking for a moment. "I got it!" She yelled with realization
"Got what?"
"An idea on how ta convince Spot! Thanks Trev!" Y/N shouted running away.
"But I didn't do anything ta help!" Trever yelled.
Time passed and Spot did a check through the centre just to see if any of the other newsies were still there, Spot didn't find any newsies aside from one, Y/N. "Y/N whatcha doing here?" Spot asked.
"I'm not going ta work."
"Why?"
"Cause I think we should go on strike."
Spot rolled his eyes. "Ya hellbent on this aren't ya?" Spot asked.
Y/N nodded her head. "Look, I know it's what we should do but it's to risky." Spot tried to explain.
"Hold on, repeat yourself again." Y/N commanded.
"What?" Spot asked.
"Repeat whatcha said."
"It's to risky?"
"Before dat."
"I know we should do it?"
"There!" Y/N shouted.
"You agree with me." Y/N added.
Spot stayed silent. "So why don't we go on strike?" Y/N asked.
"Cause it's to dangerous."
"Fine then, I'll just leave." Y/N said.
"What do ya mean by dat?" Spot asked a little alarmed.
"If you won't join da strike then I'm jus gonna havta do it alone." Y/N explained.
"Oh come on, try ta be reasonable. I'm not making dis decision without good reason." Spot said.
"And I'm not making my decision without fair reason either." Y/N shot back moving past Spot.
Spot sighed as he let Y/N moved past. "Ok, look jus promise me you'll stay safe, please."
Y/N smiled. "So protective, but yes. I'll stay safe." Y/N promised leaving the building.
Spot sighed once more. "It's only cause I love ya." Spot mumbled.
A/N Hi! Yeah I'm not dead!
