Prompt - "Why can't you just look me in the eye for once?"

"Why can't you just look me in the eye for once?" Natalie taunted, just a bit too close to Will's face. Will debated backing up, but he wasn't afraid of the bitch anymore. He had friends now, scary friends that wouldn't hesitate to beat her ass.

Will responded by first staring her in the eye.

"Because I'd rather not have to look at your face." Will spat. Natalie chuckled, still too close to Will's face.

"You've gotten a backbone since you dumped me. Maybe I should take you and fix that." She sneered. Oh, that weakened his confidence, for sure. It's not as though it's otherworldly for her to actually do that, after all. Still, he straightened his back and didn't move away.

"I'm sure my son-of-death boyfriend would love for me to go missing. Along with the rest of my and his friends." Will argued.

"Ah, right. Almost forgot that you're into faggotry. Tell me, hot stuff, was it me that turned you off from chicks?" She smirked, somehow getting even closer to Will. He gently pushed her face away from his, still staring her in the eye.

"Nah, I was always a fag. You were nothing more than a beard to me." Will stated. She scoffed.

"You told me you loved me daily."

"And you told me you loved me, though everything you did after that proved otherwise. Hmm, I wonder why I told you I loved you? It couldn't possibly because I was slapped every day if I didn't. Don't try and act any part of that relationship was genuine. I was a punching bag and a play thing to you and I never knew how to stop it." Will told her off, saying a good bit of what he'd always wanted to. He could've, and wanted to, say more, but he didn't.

"I hurt you because I did love you. You just didn't know how to love me back correctly, so I made you. That was true love, truer than you'll ever find." She told him, and Will had to resist laughing.

"I found truer love a whole two months after being with you, hun. And he doesn't have to belittle or slap me to get me to tell him I love him because I actually do. He is a better significant other, human, and being than you could ever dream of being." Will ranted off.

"Sure. But at least I know," She grabbed onto his collar and pulled him as close as she could, whispering in his ear, "You'll never forget me or the things I've done."

Will pulled back away from her, a slightly surprised look on his face. He quickly looked calm again, though, expressionless.

"Yeah, we'll see about that." He stated. And with that, he walked off.
