Will and Nico, separate teams for capture the flag. It didn't happen often, but when it did, it was intense. They both wanted to impress each other, and have bragging rights.

So neither of them cared about their roles, they wanted to be the ones to get the flag.

It didn't always go as planned, though.

"Nico! Where is your armor? Are you okay?" Will didn't expect to find his boyfriend on the ground, against a tree.

"Shouldn't you be out stealing our flag?" Nico snarked.

"Damn right I should be, but you're hurt. Come on, can you stand?" Will fussed.

"I'm fine." Nico stood up slowly, dusting himself off. "See?"

"You are not! You're bleeding, Nico! Let me help you!" Will followed him as Nico limped slowly away.

"I'm okay, Will."

"Don't be so prideful, Di Angelo, you are obviously hurt." Will stood in front of him, blocking the path.

Nico smirked. "I think I have plenty reason to be proud." And he disappeared in smoke.

And Will found that he didn't know where he was.

That little shit. Fake blood, fake limp, faked weakness. That genius little shit.

Now, Nico wouldn't go directly to the other team's flag. He didn't know where it was, actually. But he had a spot chosen, at least somewhat close to his own team's flag, to orient himself.

Will grinned. It was just getting exciting.

He sprinted for a while, searching for either someone or a patch of light. He ended up finding the patch of light first, which was fine by him.

While Nico could shadow travel, thanks to his dad, Will could light-travel for the same reason.

Will traveled right near his own flag, not yet knowing where the other one was.

Was the magic against the rules? Probably. Did anyone care, really? Absolutely not.

"Yo Kay, any info on the blue?" Will asked.

"Nope, offense messengers have yet to drop news. Little attack here too, looks like we've hidden well."

"Hidden well enough that not even our own team can find their way back, eh?"

"Hah, maybe. I thought you'd be on the offense or making out with Nico."

"Nico doesn't deserve making out, he tricked me and got me lost in a dark part of the forest. And I can't find blue worth shit, may as well defend."

"Sure, sure. Any idea where death boy's at now?"

"Not a clue. I'd assume somewhere random in between red n blue. It's too dark and shaded for me to pinpoint." He shrugs.

"Ah, well. I'd get out there and keep searching, defense has got it on lock. If you get there unprepared, you can at least come back and inform. Or take the trees and be our Paul Revere."

"I'll get out there and look on foot. Maybe I can murder my little shit of a boyfriend if I see him out there." Will walked off, in a random direction, bow in hand. Plus the light-daggers he could make at a moments notice, though he didn't use those often-a bit too harming. He could aim for the hand to simply stop the opponent and end up hitting a heart. It wouldn't be the first time.

"Nice try, babe, but I found my way back to base soon enough." Will grinned as he found his boyfriend again.

"So you were close to red when you found me?" Nico questioned.

"Oops. Sure was." Will lied. "Why'd you get me lost anyway?"

"I had to lead you away. Since you were pretty close to blue too." Nico lied back.

"Ah, pleasure doing business with you, Solace. Make out later?"

"Absolutely not, you got me lost, you lil shit. You'll have to make up for that." Will teased.

"Rude." Nico stuck his tongue out before heading to where he was previously pretending to be hurt.

And then he remembered that Will could light travel. And that red could be anywhere because of that.

Well, at least they were having fun.
