    "Don't tell me it's McDonalds?"

    "oh hell nah, I'm not spending more time there than I have to. Still set for 6 sharp?"

    "Yeah."

    "Cool!! Can't wait :)"

    Nico loved how Will's texts matched the notes. The overuse of !!, The emojis. It was cute.

    Of course, Nico wore the black button-up that Will said he looked good in. And he put on eyeliner, with only a little bit of help from Piper over text.

    Will realized he had no idea what to do. Hair in a ponytail? Damn, his hair had gotten long enough for a ponytail already?

    He's getting sidetracked. Okay, hair down, and... Yes, blue shirt. That always brought out his eyes. Did Nico ever even notice Will's eyes, though? Ah, well. Too late.

    Will grinned and knocked on Nico's apartment door, being met with a distant "Coming!" before Nico appeared in front of him.

    "Oh. You didn't have to come up here, you could've just texted that you were here."

    "That'd be kind of assholeish, wouldn't it? I was always taught to go to a girl's door when you're picking them up. I mean, obviously I'm gay as hell, but it still applies."

    "How chivalrous of you. I have to grab something, I'll be right out." And Nico disappeared back into his apartment, returning outside with his phone.

    "All ready to go?" Will questioned.

    "Sure am."

    "Cool! My car's kinda crappy, but it works." Will was, quite clearly, about to grab Nico's hand, but pulled back as he started walking towards the elevator.

    Apparently Nico has to do everything.

    He caught up to Will and held onto his hand confidently, causing Will's face to flush. Neither of them really even acknowledged it happened, though, as they got to the lobby and into Will's car.

    "So, tell me, where are you taking me?"
    "Okay, so it probably isn't as cool as I made it out to be, but... Denny's."

    "Denny's is the coolest place in the world, actually."

    "Damn right. Far better than McDonald's."

    "Now hold on, nothing is better than McDonald's." Nico argued.

    "EVERYTHING is better than McDonald's!"
