Kai* was sent to Eichen after being scared into insanity by Peter Hale as a teenager. But now Kai* is (almost) all better and back with only a slightly damaged mind. He goes to find Derek, his best friend since the third grade, only to find that he's replaced Peter as Beacon Hill's resident ruthless, power hungry alpha. But, when Derek sees Kai* again, and sees how damaged and scared he is, he rethinks wanting to be the most powerful werewolf in Beacon Hills.
NOTES:
- kai is mentally ill. He has clinical depression, anxiety, and maybe schizophrenia if you feel comfortable with writing it (if you do, make sure to research it extensively)
- this should be majorly slowburn, and kai shouldn't be magically cured of his mental disorders when him and Derek reunite, as it's not something that just goes away
