SUMMARY:
Lorenzo Acosta was as ordinary as it got. He was an exceptional student with a good group of friends, a 4.0 gpa since middle school, and a prime spot on the Academic Decathlon team. He was content with his life of carbon copy days filled with the same mundane routine that would hopefully lead him straight to a scholarship to any school he wished to attend. But after one night on the job at Beacon Hill's local video rental store, that all changed.
While working a night shift at the video store, Enzo's friend gets mauled by a beast of the unknown in front of his very own eyes and life begins to spiral downwards. Suddenly, Enzo's best friend was in the hospital and he was being questioned by the police about the night it happened even though he wasn't all that sure of it himself.
To top it all off, outcasts, Stiles Stilinski and Scott McCall, came banging on his door, rapidly firing questions about the night that was straight out of the horror films that the store sold on its shelves. Enzo wanted nothing to do with it, using everything in his power to forget the night his life had came crumbling down.
But Enzo never got what he wanted.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Lorenzo is a pretty optimistic and sarcastic teen with good grades. Once he witnesses the traumatic event, he becomes irritable, moody, and shows signs of PTSD. Do NOT forget to portray this accurately and do your research! He does have a form of survivor's guilt. It affects his friendships and relationships at home. There should be more than just him as a cast member because his friends are a big role in his story line and you can do with them what you please. You can decide whether or not his main best friend dies, but the original plot involves his friend being turned through Peters scratches (while almost being mauled) and him being somewhat of an antagonist under the influence of Gerard to get at Lorenzo and the gang during season 2. He then later dies due to injuries from Gerard. You can change this if you want and just kill him immediately. But if you do decide to keep this, make his death a good closure for Lorenzo's guilt.
NOTES:
— I would appreciate a very diverse cast! Do your research when writing different ethnicities and religions. Try not to make the OC white pls. There are so many good POC options to cast!
— There should be a good amount of OC's since Lorenzo is still coping and does not immediately attract to the supernatural world and will need other characters to fill the void. He does not appreciate Stiles and Scott hounding him about traumatic experiences! They are not besties straight away.
