Fletcher Irwin was a troubled boy. His father committed suicide when he was thirteen, and his addict mother had a drug-induced hallucination which ended in her killing someone because she wrongly thought they were trying to hurt her, landing her in jail for fifteen years to life. Now, the boy has been offered a place to stay by Sheriff Stilinski until he turns eighteen.
The trauma of losing his mother in that fashion left the boy so traumatized he went mute, making him even more of an outcast than he originally was.
NOTES:
- so since he's mute, you're gonna need to be really detailed with the context because there won't be any dialogue on fletchers part
-Stiles doesn't like him at first because he thinks he's trying to impose on his life
- towards the end of the story, fletcher could possibly talk a tiny bit to Stiles, but nobody else, and it should be no more than a few words every once in a while
- this should be a very dark and angsty story, so make sure you're up for writing it that way
