[02]It is currently one in the morning as I board my flight headphones shoved deep into my ears and as soon as I step onto the plane I immediately regret everything that has happened in the last hour. Maybe this "plan" is stupid, maybe I should just go back and apologize? "No I can't." I mumble under my breath and with a determined mindset. I step onto the plane and find my seat preparing for a long flight.
_ 13 hours later _
I take a couple steps out of the airport and I am immediately confused by all of the signs and maps. It's around 2:30 in the afternoon and the airport is quite busy.
"Um... excuse me sir, could you tell me how to get to the bus stop from here?" I glance up at him only to be met with a glare as he clearly has somewhere to be and not enough time to at least point me in the right direction. I shrug my backpack up onto my shoulder more and pull out my phone. "Maybe google maps can help?" I huff as I try to find the nearest bus stop to take me Into town.

Turns out there is a bus stop on the outside of Terminal A. That's just perfect! If I wasn't at Terminal C which is a good ten minute walk at full speed while simultaneously being able to dodge all luggage and small children. I pinpoint the location and I began to walk.
*ding*
I glance down at my phone and a notification for bus departure time has popped up. Five minutes until departure... "Five minutes until departure!" I break out into a run trying my hardest to make it to the bus stop on time. I arrive at the bus stop sliding my hand in between the doors to prevent it from closing fully. I step up the bus steps and am immediately stopped when I notice I need a bus ticket. I glance at the old silver haired man driving the bus and he slowly points out of the bus my eyes following his motion the whole time, onto the sidewalk at an dark blue machine. I hold up a finger signaling him to wait and quickly run over and tap on the screen immediately confused by the language displayed.
Clicking the button in the bottom left corner changes the language on the screen, I purchase the ticket running back up the stairs of the bus. I place the ticket into to slot and make my way to the back of the bus taking my braids and tying them back. I pull out my headphones and place them in my ears as I watch the scenery go by. I grasp onto the pendent around my neck running it between my fingers until I fall asleep.
The bus driver honks the horn twice which wakes me up. I rub my eyes and look out the window only to be met with larger buildings, cars, and lots of people. I rush off the bus excited by my surroundings. I had already purchased my tickets for the concert later on so I had a couple of hours to walk around.
I ended up buying a couple of things to eat and going to the park. I spent most of my day at the park taking pictures and just enjoying the scenery. All the beautiful green trees and the little pond with ducks in it. "Maybe I did make the right decision." I lie down in the grass and stare at the sky and for a minute I can almost hear his laugh. I put my hand over my eyes to shield the sunlight. I rest my eyes for a while and the decide that I should probably go find the venue so I won't be too late to the concert.
I gather my backpack and make my way out of the park turning on my phone and going to the camera roll where I have a screenshot of the tickets I bought. I type In the name of the venue into google maps and I begin walking.

I arrive at the venue and am met with thousands of screaming fans and a decently long line. I make my way to the back of the line seeing and hearing a bunch of smiles and excited laughter which pumped up my mood.
After about 20 minutes of waiting the line slowly starts to move into the venue. I make my way up to the booths and pull out my phone. The lady behind behind the counter scans my ticket with a smile on her face.
*(If it's underlined that means it's in "Korean" and Echo can't understand it)*
"Have a good time!"
The lady speaks to me with a smile but I can't understand her. "Um thank you?" I nod my head and make my way into the venue finding my seat.
Once I'm seated a girl only a few inches taller than me begins to speak to me with the widest grin on her face. She has a black bob and is wearing a bts hoodie and some black jeans with white converse.
"Hi my name is Ji-woo and you?" She nods ecstatically and stares at me expectantly. I stare at her for a second hoping maybe I can get a hint of what she said through her body language. No luck. "oh! You don't speak Korean do you?" "Nope..." I reply popping the p whilst shaking my head. She giggles "luckily I go to an international high school, let me start again!" She clears her throat before introducing herself but in English. I smile at her and stick my hand out for a handshake "I'm Echo, Can I ask what high school you go to?" She nods and tells me she goes to Seoul international high school. "Is it close?"
But our conversation is broken and our attention is averted to the stage as the lights dim and music begins to play. My smile returns in its fullest form.
