"What have I done..." I sit alone in a desk at the back of a desolate classroom tapping my foot against the hard floor repeatedly to soothe my nerves. Why am I at the back of a classroom? Well school started today and I was here bright and early courtesy of the one and only Kim Namjoon and was that walk awkward. The whole  time we just made small talk like we just met and I was glad that we didn't talk about anything other than random dogs and weirdly colored houses. I know I shouldn't have kissed him that's my roommate and plus if the company ever found out they would probably make me go into the foster system and I'm not messing up what I have because of some kiss. I really enjoy living with the boys we've gotten really close and I love that I'm not as shy around them as I was at first and their English is improving plus I'm picking up a few Korean phrases.

The door to the classroom creaks open slowly revealing Jungkook and the girl I met from the concert when I first came here Ji-woo. Her hair now contains streaks of purple making her hair stand out against her complexion. I didn't know that Jungkook still had a year left of school until I saw him sprinting down the street his uniform top half buttoned because Namjoon who usually wakes him up woke me up instead. Jungkook stops next to us and seemed very frustrated causing me to giggle. He shoots me a glare before fixing his top and his hair.

I found Ji-woo this morning when I went to a school assembly for my grade Jungkook guiding me to the gym. She eagerly waved me over telling me all about the school and the people who attend it. So apparently there is this teacher who got caught making out with a student in an empty classroom so now students aren't allowed to be around a teacher in an empty classroom unless another student or teacher is there. Although disgusted at the idea of the situation I try to listen and understand as best as I can to the principal who announces the events of the school year.

They pull out the empty chairs sitting around the desk pulling out food and spreading it across the table. I steal one of Jungkook's fries shoving it in my mouth before sighing loudly and slumping in the seat. "What's wrong?" "What's wrong? You guys already now what's wrong!" I say standing up and pacing to the front of the classroom. "I've made a mistake of kissing someone I know I wasn't supposed to kiss and now I think my feelings for him are stronger than before and I can't even do anything about it."  I pick up a marker and make mindless doodles of hearts and lightning bolts on the board. "You still haven't given us any names Echo..." Ji-woo says taking another bite of her burger. "I know and I really want to tell you guys but I can't."

The school bell rings telling us it's time to go to our next class. The day goes by fast nothing exciting happening other then the usual high school drama that new kids get on the first day. You know the occasional whisper asking about who I am or where I can from. I exit the building me and Jungkook arguing about being locker neighbors and how I need to help him remember his homework. "Kook I shouldn't have to help you remember your homework!" "Please Ech-" A car pulls up and the window rolls down showing Dean and Ji-woo In the car together. "Hey Echo!" Dean says waving at me then to Jungkook who gives him a nod in return. "Ji-woo what are you doing in the car with Dean..." I say taking a step forward so I can head them over the loud chatter of the school parking lot. He's my brother he came to pick me up from school. "Oh.." I say backing away from the car. "I didn't know you two knew each other." Ji-woo says curiosity filling her eyes as she looks back and forth between us. "Yeah...he's a friend of mine, I met him at the record store." "Yeah... we are really good friends." Dean says before adjusting his hand on the steering wheel.

Jungkook tugs on my arm signaling me that it's time to go. "We should hang out again sometime soon Echo." Dean yells out before rolling up the window and driving off. He turns and I wave goodbye before following him out of the school parking lot.
