12:00

Simon looks at the packages in his hand, glancing down to Alice who was excitedly running around his feet, before she disappeared to get a small stool and dragged it into the kitchen, putting it next to the kitchen side so she could see everything.

When Simon had been speaking with Alice about what she likes to do, she replied with baking.
She said that Kara taught her how to make cupcakes.
Of course, she didn't remember everything, so they compromised and went out to buy some cake mixes.
Luckily, Markus remembered to check they had instructions, otherwise the day would end up very confusing for all of them.

Speaking of Markus, he was in the living room, tidying up Alice's books and crayons, putting them neatly into her small back and zipping it up, putting it on the side.
When he'd been putting away her drawings, he noticed one that made him stop.
It was him, he could tell because of the one green and one blue eye, and Simon, the blonde hair and blue eyes.
There were love hearts around the two and Simon seemed to be looking right at Markus as Markus looked away.
He wondered if she drew that because she saw it, or if it was just a simple drawing.

"Markus." Simon calls, Looking over his shoulder and smiling when the other man walked in, tilting his head.
"What's up?"
"We don't want to start without you."
They're like their own makeshift family.

"Hurry Markus." Alice hops off of her stool, walking to him and grabbing his hands, having to use both of her own and dragging him over.
Of course, she wouldn't be able to drag Markus, so he just acted as though she had, earning a giggle when he commented on her strength.

Simon watches them both, a soft smile on his face before he nudges Markus' shoulder lightly, holding the box out to him.

13:00

Simon laughs, sat on the floor with butter and flour on his face, some down by his hips and on his chest, all in Markus' hand prints.
There's some on his leg with little hand prints, from where Alice had been.
It had been going well, Until Alice decided to start a food fight with the two, flicking butter at them and squealing when they both flicked some flour back.
Then Markus and Simon started throwing it at each other and the next thing you know Markus' clothes are covered in flour because he tickled Simon to the point he was almost crying and Alice panicked because she thought he was hurt.
She threw a whole bag of flour on Markus in an attempt to stop him from 'hurting' Simon.

Markus couldn't even get mad, it was really cute. He glances to Simon who's still sat there, hair ruffled and eyes shiny with tears from how much he'd been laughing.
"This is your fault." Markus looks Down at Him, stood now so he's in-front of the blonde.
He's joking, of course.
It was Alice's fault, but you can't blame her-

"No it's not." Simon laughs, holding a hand out towards Markus so he can help him get up.
Markus takes his hand, pausing slightly when his feet slipped on the flour and he landed above Simon, hand on the side to stop him from actually just landing on the man below him.
As cliche as it sounds, their faces were so close they could almost be kissing.

Simon blinks, looking up at him and stopping, practically holding his breath.
They both stayed like that, silently for a moment and they both seemed to lean in a bit before bursting out in a fit of giggles, looking at each other.

If it wasn't for Josh, Markus would have kissed Simon right there and then.
But he's not cruel enough to do that to his friends, they were both happy and in a healthy relationship.
That's what he thinks anyway.

But anyway. Back to the kitchen.
Alice walks back, some wipes and a towel held loosely in her hands. She wanted to clean up the mess she made, but Simon assured her it was fine.

18:00

Markus looks at the Tv, watching yet another film. It's about a fox that becomes friends with a hound as children.
Alice wanted to watch it, says the fox reminds her of a toy she had at home.
Simon was in the kitchen, washing the dishes and sorting all the cupboards.
He always seemed to be making the rooms spotless.
Markus never questioned it.
Maybe he should.

Kara, Luther, josh and north  all got back at the same time, Josh going straight through to the kitchen after saying quiet hellos and goodbyes to everyone.

Luther smiles kneeling down and holding his arms out, wrapping Alice in a hug when she ran to him.
Everyone stayed for at least ten minutes, all talking.
Kara goes to the living room, saying a quiet thank you to Markus for looking after Alice.
She asked him to say thank you to Simon.

"I'll go get him if you want." He says, Looking at her and getting up when she nods.
"If you don't mind, Markus, it'd be nicer to say thanks to him personally."
Markus walks to the kitchen, stopping when he heard angry muttering and the sound of something Coming into contact with something else.
No.
Someone hitting someone.
He peeks through the door that's only slightly open, biting his lip to stop himself from saying something.
All he could see was Simon with a hand on the side of his face, Josh looming over him.
