Vision happened again, but it has more conversation after. Male in black pen.
Let me guess, you let her go after she survived the trial?
She proves something that I failed to see the first time. Her anxiety for the future makes her visions more powerful than- unintelligible from this point on -and if I don't train her I know that the curse I bear would get worse.
My, you're so nervous for a giant thing. Relax. If all goes to plan, she can't handle it, and won't find the -unintelligible-.
Dream fades. Must consult librarian. Visions worsen. Must dispose of previous scroll.
====Kasey POV====
I felt the ice on my back pushing against my skin. A light shove and I could easily pierce myself with it. I couldn't speak. I was to scared to. I imagined the terrible things I might go through if I am loud.
A light chuckle echoed through my head, and I see a misty figure in front of me appear. I couldn't tell what it was, but it looked humanoid enough. The eyes on the thing was white, like Chaos', but it didn't glow, and neither did the teeth. It was a dark grey just like the rest of them.
I tried moving away as the thing grabbed my arm. I noticed long claws were on their fingers, and I felt the pain in my back sharpen, as well as the cold, numbing feeling crawl up my body.
"I don't want to stay here all day," It said, and it took a moment before I noticed that it used the same voice from the other mover. Then the voice completely changed, several times, first a higher, angry female, "Come with me," And it stooped down to a low, baritone voice, "Or suffer," To which increased in pitch to a different man, "The consequences."
I knew I would have found this sort of awesome if I was not being threatened.
I only nodded, and I felt my head become numb. I felt a headache come in, and the cold traveled up my spine to the base of my head. Everything became muffled and weird. I try to blink the feeling of sleep from my eyes, but I also felt that cold feeling pierce my neck as I resist falling out of consciousness.
Then, the feeling crashed away, and I managed to hear, still slightly muffled, a cry from Chaos. The shadow leapt onto the back of the misty figure, who disappeared in a puff of smoke. Chaos then went behind me, and I fell back. I still felt the thing on my back, and I braced for impact. I landed on the floor, the feeling still evident, but there was no piercing at all.
I felt the cold area on my back, and felt nothing actually was there. It was an illusion, or something, I couldn't figure it out.
Chaos lifted me into his arms, and sprinted out of the warehouse. Before he exited into the sunlight, I felt a lurch in my stomach. I blinked, a little disoriented, at seeing us nowhere near the warehouse now. We are within an alleyway in a city. I'm not sure what city, though.
Chaos set me down besides a dumpster, and when the smell hit me, I realized how horrible I really felt. And heaved.
After a minute or so, the taste of bile still in my mouth, I looked up at Chaos, who seemed very worried. He cautiously put his hand on my head. I'm not sure why. Is he trying to see if I have a fever? Is this supposed to be comfort?
"Bonded One," He hissed, "You are sick! Why you go to school if you are sick?"
I managed to cough a bit of the bile resting in my mouth, and said, "Chaos...I wasn't sick when I went to school...I'm sick now."
But I felt as if I lied again. My stomach felt a lot better after vomiting. But I still feel horrible in general. I don't want to do that jump thing again if I'm going to get sick after doing it a few times in a row.
Slowly, I stood up, and I also noticed that the feeling on my back had faded a while ago. I stare to my right, and notice the busy street and sidewalk of people, and I noticed, just now, that Chaos wouldn't pass very well for a human. Curse my stupid observation skills.
I cringed internally now thinking about it, and I don't look very presentable myself, because I just had gotten sick.
I sigh and hope that some sort of miracle happened. I don't even think I'm anywhere near my home town.
This is going to be bad.
