No vision, just notes. Dugslr/e removes darkened poison collects in stomach and makes patient vomit out contents. For shadows it becomes as addictive as a demon sprayed with blessed water.
Cure itself is more tart than dugslr/e. Like water with lime.
====Kasey POV====
Waiting never felt this stressful in my life, but it was about to get even more horrible than just waiting for a door to open.
As I was waiting, I felt the gem warm up again, but no matter how I moved my head, the beeping sound from the inside still repeated within my skull...it was almost hypnotizing despite the fact that it was muffled behind the door.
Was that an alarm of some sort?
Or was that some sort of piece to a music?
I'm not sure. Need more information.
My mind sort of went blank after I heard the lock move...but the door never opened. I knocked again, maybe a bit louder than before.
No response.
Feeling tension, I reached out and opened the door myself. I expected to see Chaos in front of me, but no. I saw a room, bed in one corner, and some sort of contraption in the center of the mass of papers and soda cans littered across the floor.
I slowly stepped in, listening. I couldn't hear any sort of breathing...let alone talking on the phone. Did I imagine that?
I couldn't see a phone anywhere plugged into the wall, so I assumed I did make that up.
But the contraption...it's odd.
It was a tripod with some sort of sphere on it, with a low purple light glowing within it. Wires and cables led to a small laptop on the bed, deactivated. The sphere was making some sort of pulsing sound, almost electronic, but not entirely.
The glow was sort of comforting in a way. Like the gem in my pocket.
I moved towards it, making sure to not step on papers and lightly crushed cans, and stare at it.
My senses sort of changed, and a vision crossed my mind.
I was standing within a pack of those strange shadow creatures. They were all looking up at me as I and Chaos, besides me, stare back.
Then the vision shifted.
I was riding a very large bird, no, griffin! I was riding a griffin, and someone was behind me. Red and orange hair, fox ears. She looked like one of my characters! Jacklynn! How did she get into my visions? Does she exist if Chaos exists?
The vision shifted.
I felt comfort watching three invisible beings, all wearing metal bands on their arms, take flight away from some sort of institution. But a growing sense of fear remained with me as they took off, bright yellow lights flashing out of my vision.
I felt myself exit the visions as the cold gem dropped out of my pocket. Startled at the noise, I turn around to see what caused the noise.
But then, I saw that the door I entered from was closed. And also behind me, I saw a figure of a person standing there. They were taller than me, I could tell, and I saw the sheen of their glasses in their front pocket.
A low growl got me to look back to the gem...but it wasn't there.
Instead it was Chaos, my shadow, staring at the person and growling.
I felt relief to see that he was safe, but...
"Chaos, why did you leave me? What are we doing here?" I asked him.
He growled to me, "We find help, yes?"
It was only then that the person spoke, "How did you...how did you even survive?"
He stepped into the light, and I could see his short, buzzed haircut. He had a scar on one side of his head, seemingly stitched together. His eyes were a dazzling green, and his skin had a light tan.
I looked to Chaos, "Survive? Survive what?"
"The fire," Said the man, quickly, "The fire that should have also killed the experiment."
