===Kasey POV===
I’m not sure how to….react to this.
Staring at Chaos, I could only recall back to what they just called me. Bonded One. It sounded important, yet whenever they say it, I get a deja-vu moment. Not only that, but something about that name feels...oddly familiar. But at the same time, it feels new and ancient and magical all at once.
Reaching out my hand to my head, I sigh and press it against my forehead, overwhelmed by the quick passing thoughts. In a few seconds, over ten questions formed at the same time.
Is this real? Yes.
Is this a part of my problem? Not sure, need more information.
Would this affect my life? Yes.
Is this a dream? No.
Is this the true Chaos I have written about before? Yes.
If he is true...is everything else true?
I take off my hand and look up at him. He seemed as if he was expecting something. A cheer? A laugh? Some words?
“Chaos, do you…” She cleared her throat, “Um, do you remember...where you came from?”
Chaos blinked and thought about the question. His ears flicked a few times as he stared a bit upwards. A small butterfly passed his field of view, undisturbed. Snapping back to attention, he growled, “Only ones I share and remember but the ones I not share I not remember okay?”
I blinked. I had no idea what he meant by that.
He apparently took that as an okay signal, as he continued, “I remember the White Ones. They all are bright with color. They have less color too. All wear white except for the Grey Greens. The Grey Greens have dark colors, and they hurt others.”
Pieces started to come together, like a puzzle. I can, for some reason, fit each of them together in a neat bundle. But when he didn’t continue, the puzzle was left unfinished. I struggled to keep the pieces together, but I somehow pictured something.
A mirror shattering, the fragments splitting and cracking with light, and the small bits of dust rising, then all the pieces exploded. I felt small flakes flinging through the air, and I felt myself grow a bit more heavy.
After that odd mental picture cleared, I looked to Chaos. He seemed casual, but for some reason, despite the lack of pupils, I can see him eyeing the butterfly from the corner of his eye.
“I...can I have more explanation?” I asked him. I was at first going to demand him, but something told me that the scenario wouldn’t go well. And by something, I mean all the possibilities of failure, shown by my anxiety. I should have had some calm tea before I left…
Chaos growled to say no, but it wasn’t threatening. It was sort of like a dog growl, that only lasted for two seconds.
Then, I felt as if I should go home. I don’t know what time it is, or how long I have been gone.
I look up to Chaos, and smile after he gave a small sneeze. “Hey Chaos, I have to go. I have a, uh...a family, and I have to go back to them for a time.”
Chaos tilted his head, slightly sniffing, “Family?” He questioned, his ear flicking again. I don’t know why I keep paying attention to that. For some reason, a flicking ear gives me a signal...of what, I do not know.
“Yes, family,” I said, forcing myself to stay still and not back up from Chaos’ tense posture. “I have to go back. I can only be out for a little bit, because, uh…” I looked down, trying to find a quick excuse. Then, I realized I had one. “M-My leg, yeah. My leg needs to be treated,” I say.
