Raised By The Enemy

Chapter 7

Yugo and Adami sat in silence. The two nine year olds plotted together through their link how they would escape. 'Dragons can shapeshift right? Why don't you just turn into something strong enough to bust through the door?' Yugo asked mentally

'We should try to make as little commotion as possible.' Adami replied

'If I had powers I bet I would be less useless.'

'Yugo, you're not useless. Also, Eliatropes do have powers.'

'They do?'

'Yeah, but from what I've seen, they don't usually get them until they're at the youngest ten.'

Light flooded into the small room, slightly blinding the two. Adami glared at Oropo as the Eliotrope tossed some bread onto the ground in front of Yugo. "Calm down Adami. I haven't hurt either of you." Oropo growled as he dropped some more bread in front of Adami

"Yet." Adami muttered

"Shut up, or I'll put you in a different room. Alone." Oropo threatened

"Don't threaten my brother." Yugo mumbled

"Last chance to shut up. Both of you."

"You're not our Father!" Yugo and Adami shouted in unison, right into Oropo's face

Oropo growled, grabbed Yugo by the back of the shirt, and dragged him across the room. As Oropo did this Yugo was shouting, and trying to escape the Eliotrope's grip, Adami was unable to do anything. Immediately after Oropo and Yugo were on the other half of the room, a wall rose up out of the floor, separating Oropo and Yugo from Adami. Yugo continued to shout at Oropo.

"WHAT DID I SAY YUGO!" Oropo yelled at the child as he flung him into the wall, causing the young Eliatrope to scrape his arm on the wall "I told you, to call me father. Did you forget?"

Yugo whimpered as he cradled his arm. Oropo angrily growled and hit the small boy across the face "S-Stop!" Yugo yelled, Wakfu pulsing from his body once more, knocked Oropo to the ground, the new wall collapsed and Adami ran over to Yugo

"Yugo. Yugo are you okay?" Adami asked worriedly as he hugged his brother

"I-I'm okay. I just scrapped my arm a little."

"You brats." Oropo growled "You will not get in my way." The Eliotrope stood

Adami stepped in front of Yugo "Stay away from my brother."

"As I've said before Adami. I raised your brother."

"That gives you the right to hurt him. That's called child abuse." Adami growled "It's the worse kind too, since he's not your son." Yugo looked at his bleeding arm, blood was dripping onto the floor. Oropo angrily glared at Adami. He took a step. "Take one more step and you'll feel the wrath of a dragon."

Oropo smirked and said "I'll take my chances." Oropo took another step, grabbed Adami, and threw him across the room "Now both of you shut up. Or I will make sure you never see each other ever again. Do I make myself clear?"

Yugo nodded, as did Adami, but soon after Yugo looked at Adami with a 'Dude, stop using curse words' look
