Chapter 10

(two weeks later)

    "Hello everyone! I'm so excited to announce that we have some super special guests in the studio with us today! They can't hear you but give them a round of applause anyway! Five minutes to Midnight! All time Low, and American love affair!"  The female radio host makes a joke while introducing the band's.

    "Hello, how is everyone today?" She grins at them. They smile back and wave, saying hello.

    "It's great to have you here this morning, so how has the tour been so far?" She asks.

    "Ya its been a blast, we are having the time of our lives with our best friends" Alex says, pulling Michael into a headlock. The two bands have started to do that recently, try to make Michael laugh. He giggles and tries to get away causing one of them to knock over a microphone.

    "So incase people at home were wondering, That noise was from Michael and Alex knocking over a microphone." She laughs. "So Luke this is your first world tour, how does it feel to you guys to be performing to this many people?" She asks.

    "Ha ya, we uh, it's definitely nerve racking i can say that" he says with wide eyes.

    "We never in a million years expected to be asked to do a world tour, let alone a world tour with two of our favorite bands." Ricky says. "Awe" the other two bands joke.

    "I actually wanted to know everyone's first impressions of each other?" She says curiously.

    "So the boys and I actually met these guys before Mike and them did," Alex starts " we were all in America and both happened to be in California at the time, so when we asked these guys to be on the tour we actually went and met them at their house. I think I can speak for all of us when I say we thought they were really talented before we even met them, then when we met them we all were just really surprised by how nice they all were and how open to criticism they were." Alex says.

    "Ya that and Sammy has cool hair, Luke has an amazing voice, Ricky reminds me of Ash and Calum is one of the best bassists we've ever met." Rian says making the others awe.

"We were really star struck when we met them, I don't think i could talk for like a solid hour." Luke jokes.

"Hey don't be embarrassed. Mikey legitimately ran out of the room when he met us" Jack joked at Michaels expense. The rest cracked up and Mikey pouted.

"Hey! That was only because you basically scared me to death! They freaking pulled a prank on me, I was by myself too" he whines.

"I'm sorry buddy, but it was hilarious at the time. We don't talk about it" Alex says the last part in mock seriousness.

"Ok so getting back on track, we met these guys two weeks before the tour started, we are just happy there is another girl on tour finally, and Luke is scared of her so it's a bonus" Skylar jokes, hugging Ricky. Luke pouts.

"She hits really hard!" He complained.

"We literally had the same impression though, Luke has an insane voice, Calum is a literal puppy that slays the bass and Sammy has cool hair but doesn't talk much." Raine says.

"So what did you think of these guys when you met them?" The host asks luke's band.

"Ash is like the dad of the band, he's going to beat me up for saying that," Luke starts. "But really straight away we could tell Ashton is the person to go to for advice, Raine and Skylar actually scared me because when you put Ricky with them i actually fear for my life." Luke's eyes widen.

"I was just happy there were more girls, i don't know how much longer I could go with these idiots" Ricky points to Luke, cal and Sammy.

"Michael what about you?" The interviewer asks.

"Oh uh ya, I didn't meet them till the second day of tour and it actually was just before the interview we had. I don't actually know what I thought of them because i didn't actually have a conversation with any of them till we all hung out the next day. They kinda reminded me of our band when we first started." He shrugs. Ashton notices he avoids saying anything specific to a member.

"What about you guys?"

"Well we had actually been fans of them for a while, well Luke wasn't but that doesn't matter because he didn't know what good music was." Ricky laughs punching Luke's shoulder.

"So ya we had only just seen Michael like twice during the first day and It was actually only in the dressing room and on stage. The day we all hung out we actually thought Michael was really nice, quiet but, he's like one of those people that can say two words and you can be thinking about it forever." Ricky finished.

"Ha, Cal and I just thought he was hilarious and the first thing he did was punch Luke so that was kind of a plus" Sammy jokes getting a glare from Luke. Calum and Sammy high five a confused Michael.

"Uh thanks guys..great to know my best friends find amusement in my pain." Luke says.

"You deserved it though bro" Calum says.

"Why did you punch him? Did you even say one word to him?" The lady asks kind of surprised.

"I didn't need to talk to him to know he's an asshole." Is all Michael says.

"I'm sure by now you've heard Michael and Luke used to be friends? They didn't know who each other were till the interviewer said their names so after it they fought, Luke said something especially douchey and Michael punched him" Ashton explained.

"Ok I admit I deserved that" Luke says holding his hands up and smiling a bit. Trying to make it seem like they were all cool with everything now.

"But your cool now?"

"Ya were good now. Got over the initial you're my enemy from childhood thing real quick." Luke Jokes.

"That's good. She smiles.

"So, new music, are there any collabs in the future?"

"Ya i think that's definitely an option" Ash says, smiling at the idea.

"I don't think any music will be produced, we would just be fooling around the whole time" Calum jokes.

"But in all seriousness, ALA are releasing their EP in like two weeks. We've all listened to it and it's amazing" Alex tells her.

"Well that's great!" She grins. "I'm not going to keep you any longer, i know you have three days off so go enjoy your break. Thanks for talking to me" She ends their interview. The bands smile and thank her, putting the headphones down and walking out the door.
